Product Review: Lush’s Flying Fox Shower Gel
One of the more popular body and shower gels from Lush Cosmetics, Flying Fox is a blend of herbals, honey and jasmine to calm you, ignite “desire” (giggle), and is supposed to help with PMS.

A little goes a quite a long way with this body wash and it foams up quickly. The scent is syrupy and thick and is more pleasant on your skin after the shower than during. I found it a bit overwhelming while swimming in the scent during a steamy shower. The gel’s formula did not react with my skin or cause any breakouts. However, I cannot really attest to the claims of PMS assistance (and my hubby didn’t care for the scent too much so it didn’t attract him.
).
Lush’s Flying Fox Shower Gel is available from their website for $17.45 for a 8.4 oz bottle. (Isn’t that a little pricey?)
Ingredients: Honey (Mel), Sodium Laureth Sulfate, Sodium Cocoamphoacetate, Perfume, Jasmine Absolute (Jasminum officinale), Ylang Ylang Oil (Cananga odorata), Cypress Oil (Cupressus sempervirens), Palmarossa Oil (Cymbopogan martini), Methylparaben, Propylparaben.

Product Review: Noevir Skin Care
Skincare products are a long-term testing item. It usually takes me anywhere from 2 weeks to 2 months to trial a new product/line so I can decide if it will work, or not. During the past month, I have been using two offerings from Noevir. Included below are the items I tested, my thoughts, and relevant recommendations.
Noevir NHS, Noevir Herbal Skincare - This is a four step skincare routine:

- Deep Cleansing Cream - Feels like lotion in viscosity. It glides on nicely and does a grand job at makeup removal. I used this in the evening after a day of makeup.
- Foaming Cleanser - This was my favorite product out of all of them. Pleasant, light scent and super concentrated. Use only a little!
- Balancing Lotion - This toner did not dry out my skin or make me feel “stripped”. Instead it applied similar to a light lotion.
- Moisture Lotion - Excellent everyday face lotion. I used this morning and evening on my face and neck.
I’d recommend the NHS regimen for people with normal skin, at any age. $120 for the set.
Noevir 99 - This is a five step skincare program:
