Big Makeup Sale At Walgreens!

by Bionic Beauty on 25.Jun.2008 · 11 comments

If you’re close to a Walgreens store and looking for a good buy, I’ve got some for you. I was just in our local store this morning and spotted all L’Oreal HIP makeup at Buy One Get One Free. The gel eyeliners were certainly calling my name until I spotted Jane’s new gel eyeliners at 2 for $5.99! So they hopped into my shopping basket. I also spotted large giftsets of Physicians Formula Organic Wear cosmetics (3 items per gift set); markdowns on the latest Sally Hansen “brights” nail polishes and literally tons of Buy One Get One Free labels.

At check out I got an extra bonus- a whole gift bag filled with teeny samples (Neutrogena eyeshadows, Garnier skincare, Eucerin lotion) and coupons galore! To check your local Walgreens sale flyer, enter your ZIP code on their sale finder page.

Can you tell I was just a tad excited? With only grabbing two eyeliners, I am pretty darn proud of myself for not blowing my budget. :)

Happy Shopping, Bionic Beauties!

The savings! I’m speechless! Oh wait, no I’m not. Good for you, and your budget. I swell up with pride when I hear of others being cheap and fabulous.

Holy Cow! I really have been wanting to try out those Jane Eyeliners too! I have been trying to stay out of Walgreens, but…well, I have to say I admire you for your self control! Do you know how long this sale is going on?

Cheap Chick- and to compare, the L’Oreal gel eyeliners are $11.99 each, so I save 6 buckaroos for each one by getting Jane!

Tammy, Between Target and Walgreens… I am in heaven. I guess I’m not hard to please. :) I know the sale was at least until the weekend, but I’m not sure past that. I think Walgreen’s sales end/start on Sundays.

And I have the eyeliner on today. It went on super easy. We’ll see how it holds up with a day of scrubbing tile and cleaning the pool. Then we’ll really know how it performs! 😉

WoooHooo! I checked my flyer online, and the sale is until the 28th…so, since I need to go and get a birthday card anyway…isn’t it sad how we will use any excuse??

Hey:)

The L’oreal liners aren’t gel, they are cream, I have all 5 colors. I just saw a review of the Jane liners on YouTube. The girl compared them to MAC fluidline and said they worked as well. Two for $5.99 is awesome!

Tammy and Victoria, Let me know what you get 😀 I went through again last night, but thankfully my hubby was there to help control things from jumping into my hands.

Denise, Oops! Thanks for pointing that out. Not sure what I was thinking.

Ok, stopped in and picked up the following: Jane Eyeliners in Black and Navy Blue (me likey!) Sally Hansen Airbrush Foundation (not sure yet) and latest copy of Cosmo magazine. All in all a very RESTRAINED trip…but I need to go back I think…such an addiction!

oh, forgot. I also picked up the CG LashBlast Mascara in Waterproof! I only wear waterproof mascara…Florida being so darn humid! I am wearing it today, not sure how I like it yet…

Tammy, I’d say you did pretty good considering all that was on sale! (Look, the more I buy the more I save! is what my hubby always says…)

Do you like the LashBlast? I haven’t tried it, but have heard great things about it. It has the rubber brush too, right? I love my Mineral Wear mascara by Physician’s Formula and am skeered to try anything else.

Aren’t the Jane eyeliners grand? Yah for cheapness!

Hmmm, the jury is still out on the LashBlast. The brush is one of those rubber ones and it is HUGE! Very hard to apply to my bottom lashes…I will be doing a review after a couple of more uses…
