Coconut oil. Use it as a moisturizer, it seeps into the skin and is not greasy at all, and I have very bad adult acne and it doesn't make it worse, and its all natural, I use Nutiva organic coconut oil, its about $5.00 and lasts well over a year. Its also great during the winter on cracked feet. It has been my miracle moisturizer. If you look at your ingredients on most moisturizers, you are putting coconut oil on your face anyways, so why not just go all natural and do just the coconut oil without the rest of the chemicals in your moisturizer.

Nen & Jen, I REALLY need to get me some of this lip balm, huh? I'll grab it on my next trip to the drugstore. I saw it on sale at CVS the other day!

MMT, good for you!! I have my hubby do my trims at home. Why pay to go have a few hairs snipped, right? He just trims off the ends that are uneven. My hair grows SO fast in the back, but slower up front, so I can't stand to pay my normal $18-25 for a full hair cut just to get the back ends snipped by 1/4 of an inch.

When I was in high school, my sister and I always cut each other's hair. It saved money, time and we knew we wouldn't mess each other's hair up. :)

Oh Yes Nenette! I just purchased the Alba Lip Balm in Coconut Cream! It is heavenly... must put it on right now!

Thanks for the homemade eye makeup removal recipe. My favorite kitchen cupboard beauty item is slightly beaten egg whites to be used as a facial mask. Very gentle, so soothing and pulls out impurities. Simply pat on face, let dry for a few minutes and rinse.

My favorite money-saving beauty tip is cheap haircuts! I have my mom or friends cut it and it usually ends up looking pretty good--I just can't bear shelling out tons of money for a haircut. EVERY time I go to a salon, I end up taking scissors to it later, so why not just do it myself in the first place? I've never paid more than $30 for a haircut.

Alba Pineapple Quench Lip Balm - I got it for $4.00-ish and it's been awesome for both lip moisture AND brow control... it's strong enough for my crazy stubborn Filipino eyebrow hairs! :)
