Susan, Your comment was WAY too cute. I'm still smiling from reading it. I love those actresses you mentioned... they have long been my idols. And I quite often emulate a 60s look... probably because I didn't get to experience it then. Sometimes I think I was born in the wrong generation.

I am only answering this because all of you sweet young things out there will probably think its funny, and I think a good laugh is a healthy thing.
I was in college in the sixties, when makeup was all about EYES. If any of you ever heard of Raquel Welch, Sophia Loren, Brigitte Bardot, or if you have seen any old movies from the 60's then you know about liquid eyeliner that extended about a half-inch beyond the outside corner of the eye, ending un a fine line that swooped up a little. Very thick liner all around the edge of the lash line, and eyeshadow all over the upper lid; layers of mascara, or false lashes. Cat eyes ... Even in the day time. Oh, and the lipstick was almost bare.
Our faces looked like blankets with two holes burned in them.
We also had to wear shirts or dresses to classes. Around 1963, we began to rebel and wear tennies withour nylons (still used garters to hold up the nylons, too).

I don't copy celeb's looks, but i do copy make-up how to tutorials in magazines! Some of the looks are so punchy and cool! One article was of all these youtube how-to makeup teachers top looks. One suggested making dots instead of a line with my liquid eyeliner. I tried it and it looked so cool, I got so many compliments. The color scheme was purple, light green, and teal, so it kind of looked peacockish! If that makes sense...lol

Me three.......I sometimes do the smoky eye look, thats as celeb as I get.
If I were to mimick a celeb make-up look , it would be Kim Kardashian. Her make-up always looks great. I also really like the dewy fresh look of Hayden Paniettere.
