This week’s Bionic Asks… What is your favorite spa treatment, and what one have you always wanted to try?
I love getting a nice, long massage but have only been twice in my life. I felt like a completely different person afterward- so very relaxed! I really should try to set aside time for another one soon.
As for what I have always wanted to try- it’s an easy answer for me. I want one of those deep mud body masks where you lay in a soaking tub full of thick, mineral mud. I’ve always wondered what it would feel like. I imagine it’s probably pretty relaxing and comforting at the same time. In any case, it’s on my “Bucket List” of things to do!

I would have to say pedicure because that’s all I have ever had done, but I would love to get a massage that is geared toward relieving fibromyalgia muscle pain! I think that is what I will ask for for my anniversary this year!
Oooh Stacy… you’re going to love the massage for that. I have something very similar and the massage does wonders (even though it’s only temporary relief!). My best tip- arrange for someone to pick you up after and drive you home, that way you can stay relaxed & enjoy the benefits longer!
I loves me a pedicure! And any sort of hair treatment is awesome as well.
I want to try a full seaweed wrap – my BROTHER had one once, for pete’s sake!!!
The seaweed wrap sounds fun! Although I might feel like a giant sushi roll.
haa haa!
I would want another facial. Had one for the first time back in September. I couldn’t stop giggling a few times, as it tickled while she was applying goop and doing all that other facial massaging stuff.
So relaxing, and faboo for my skin.
Tashi, I had a facial at a spa once too… and I agree about the tickle factor! It was very relaxing as well. I love my at-home facials just as much though. I admit I haven’t been keeping up with them as much as I should. I really need to get back to my once a week schedule!

I love massages, they are so relaxing. I love to take it after a tiring day, it relaxes me so much before going home and having fun with my kids. I don’t like to bring the stress of work at home. I also like the deep mud body masks.
Tara, I’m SO jealous that you’ve had the mud-body-masks. I want one of those! I just got an at-home kit, so I’ll be reviewing it soon. I adore it so far! But I’d still like to have one done by someone else. Ahhh… maybe some day!
Happy Friday!

I love Galvanic Spa treatments. There is simply nothing else like them.
Susanna, I agree! I just started using the Galvanic Spa treatments a month or so ago and they are AMAZING! I can’t wait to get my review up on here. I use mine on my body too. Feel free to elaborate on your results.
And welcome to Bionic Beauty!
Cheers,
Jami
Hi Jami!
The changes have been incredible. I have 4 children (I use it on my body too! lol) and my oldest is about to turn 17.
Everyone we meet thinks he’s my little brother. And recently I’ve even been asked if my parents are home, or taking my kids to the dr, what insurance my parents have… You should see the faces when they realize I am the parent.
I could go on and on, but let’s just say this thing has taken YEARS off my face and body. (We’re going to Bali next month and I’m going to look HOT in that bikini.
)
Cheers!
Susanna
I use mine on my body too! I had a bought of 4 surgeries in 2004. They played havoc on my body leaving numerous scars… This has been the only thing to help reduce the scarring, “level” things out and has even seemed to help with underlying scar tissue.
Last night I had a family friend guess that I was 20 (I’m 33). I said No! But thanks!
And actually, I’m thankful to be in my 30s…. SO much better than my 20s!
I’m SO happy to hear you’ve had such success too. Your little “avatar” picture on here looks great, by the way!
best,
Jami
OH! And have fun in Bali. I’m very jealous!!
Sorry, but what’s a “Galvanic spa treatment”? Makes me think of a Clarisonic (which I know of, but have never used).
It’s similar in that it’s a beauty “gadget” but I never had luck with Clarisonic- never did much for my skin and certainly not anything to reverse aging signs or scarring, skin firmness, etc. The Galvanic Spa treatments I have are for body and face; but there are also formulas to use with your hair. I use the Age-Loc NuSkin brand. It’s amazing!!! I’ll be writing my review up over the next weeks; and hopefully do a video to show how it works. It’s basically centered around negative and positive ion (electrical) charges through your skin depending on what your treating, body/face/hair, etc. I lurve mine.
Er, ah, DUH me! Why do I think of Googling “Galvanic spa treatment” *after* posting?
Anywho, your responses on that still welcome. Thanks!
I LOVE A LONG MASSAGE. STARTING AT THE SHOULDERS WORKING DOWN THE ARMS,NECK ,BACK. I LOVE IT SOOOOOOO MUCH THAT I USUALLY FALL ASLEEP BUT ALSO DRUELL. MY BODY IS SO RELAXED THAT IT TAKES ME AWHILE TO GET UP OFF THE TABLE. THERE IS NOTHING BETTER THAN THE “HUMAN TOUCH”.
