I sport a very closely cropped afro, so my favorite styling product is Special FX Curls Up Curl Reactivator. I run it through my damp hair and let it air dry. It gives my hair a little bit of a wavy/curly look To bigger my afro, the more waves than curls it produces.

I've heard super things about Ouidad's products. A friend of mine loves them. As a curly girl, I especially love products geared towards folks like me, and not just a one size fits all approach. Until I eventually give Ouidad items a shot, I love Garnier Fructis leave-in conditioner with color guard, and I think, UV protection. I comb it through sparingly every time after shampooing, before using a light spray gel. Also, L'Oreal's Elnett hairspray is divine. Better than some more expensive stuff I recently tossed out. It's only $15, and works fab.

OH! New discovery...Kim Vo Styling Creme...really wonderful, especially combined with his other product's, the protien's and silk is just wondeful for long hair when you want some style but not too much drying out....short hair is easy to wash out, long hair get's really expensive to wash with good stuff!!!!

I use WEN conditioning cleanser, rinse it out, then fill my hair again and braid it up and tuck the end's under until I'm finished working outside for the day...instead of parched straw, my hair rinses out soft and beautiful and I wake up with it dry or close to it ready for a new day!

Right now I'm into Sally Hershberger's Style Primer for Wavy Hair. It makes a surprisingly good styler for blow-drying my hair straight. Odd, but effective.

Great choice with the UV spray! It's so important to protect your hair in the summer! One of our favorites in the summertime is Ouidad's Climate Control Gel. http://www.ouidad.com/Climate-Control It's heat activated and shields hair from humidity!
Linda for Ouidad

I just started using Dove Body & Lift Weightless Moisturizers Volumizing Mousse and I am loving it- not sticky at all! And pretty weightless. It does moisturize too!
I also use some kind of leave-in coconut spray, which took me forever to find and it was about $8, but I love the scent and it is good for keeping my ends from getting too dry. And for hairspray I just started using Dove Weightless Moisturizers Hairspray with Natural Movement. Not too sure about the natural movement part. But it works and it's not too stiff.
BTW I am going to post your 2 giveaways right now. Have been a bit busy.

I really like Ouidad Botanical Boost. It makes my hair feel really soft. I got a 2 oz sample of it a couple weeks ago, and have loved it ever since. But I can't bring myself to spend $16 on it, so I'm trying to make my sample last as long as I can!
