I have heard from a lot of my clients in the salon that they love Bare Escentuals. The latest topic seems to be who makes the best foundation, the name that seems to keep popping up is Versace. Uptil recently I never even knew Versace made a foundation.

Bare Escentuals Mineral Foundation is awesome!!
I also like Tricia Sawyers foundation – but i only use this for special occassions!

I have spent lots of time and money searching for a foundation to love. And FINALLY I found one!! I really truly LOVE Philosophy’s Supernatural Airbrushed Canvas . I also use their concealer as well. I use it just about everyday and tell everyone I know to try it.

I’m loving Maybelline Pure Makeup for the summer – it’s 50% water so it’s super light. I was using Maybelline Dream Liquid Mousse which is also great.

Real Purity Health Glow liquid foundation in medium beige is my favorite foundation right now (and probably for many years to come.) It blends so beautifully and gives you a natural, smooth look. It only has 5 ingredients which are non-chemical. I adore this brand of makeup. I also use their mascara. I usually brush a little mineral powder over just to set. I am usign Signature Minerals right now.

I love Bare Minerals foundation medium shade, and the summer bisque concealer powder. But the medium can look a wee bit too shiny on me sometimes. I then have to very lightly dust some translucent powder on the shinies. I know Bare Minerals has talc and bismuth oxychloride, etc. But so far, those ingredients haven’t bothered me. I like the mineral foundations, as they look better on me now that I’m 40, and they don’t melt off in hot weather like liquids or creams. I’ve used tinted moisturisers, but they tend to bother my eyes, even if I’m careful with application.

I love so many things! I am a big fan of tinted moisturizers and currently love Laura Geller and Tarte. I also like the BE Matte (no itching!). I haven’t tried Purely Cosmetics, but know I can no longer be without their Diamond Finishing Powder- it’s a must have!
