This week’s Bionic Asks…
What makeup are you wearing on your face today?

I’m wearing:
- SPF 25, it’s an all natural blend of zinc oxide, aloe juice, and witch hazel from my local health food store.
- Purely Cosmetics Silk and Pearl Primer powder
- my holy grail foundation- Purely Cosmetics mineral makeup (just in case you missed my review of PC’s mineral makeup)
- L’Oreal De-crease eye shadow base
- elf Cosmetics Duo Eye Shadow Cream in Black Licorice (my review) – I used the lighter color (silver) on the inner half of my eye.
- Bobbi Brown Brights palette shadow in Ultra Violet – UV went on the outer half of my eye & blended into the elf silver.
- Maybelline Cool Effects Shadow/Liner in Black Frost – I lined my upper lashline very lightly with this and then ran a brush over to soften.
- Shiny Mama Shimmer All in Ice – a fabulous micro-fine shimmer powder. I put it on my browbones for a highlight and in the inner corners of my eye to pop light around. Love, love, love my Shiny Mama!
- Physician’s Formula Mineral Wear mascara in blackest black (my all time fave mascara!)
- Ferro Cosmetics Crystal Mineral Veil in rose as a face highlight (on bridge of nose, top of cheeks, temples, and cupid’s bow)
- Lips – Clinique Long Last Glosswear in Clearly Pink, with Shiny Mama’s Ice dabbed in center of lower lip.

So much great makeup, so little time!
So pretty! I was worried about how you’d fare with all that humidity down in FL, but you look as gorgeous and well-made-up as always.
PS That sunscreen sounds awesome. Which health store did you buy it from?
Thanks for the lovely compliments ladies.
Cheap Chick- are you kidding? I adore the humidity. Sure, it’s not the best for my hair but my sulfate-free shampoos seem to help. I went absolutely bonkers visiting some friends in Vegas for a weekend. I used an entire jug of lotion on my body. No kidding. I get miserable if the humidity drops below 70%, lol. I guess I’m a tropical kid by nature. Tee hee!
Oh… and the sunblock I have… I got it at my local Nature’s Market (it’s not a chain though): http://naturesmarketmelbourne.com/
They make the sunblock there in house. Here’s the ingredients: Zinc Oxide (I found a whole tube at CVS for $2), aloe vera juice, witch hazel, water, germal plus (I dunno what that is). Anyhow, mix it all up. And shake like crazy before you use it. It’s really watery so it’s better in a spray bottle. But the Zinc is AWESOME for gals with acne. It totally dried mine out (gently, no peeling or redness) and cleared up my skin. I LOVE it! And it goes in nicely so that it doesn’t end up white on your face or greasy.
I have a few articles I need to write up on natural sunblock offerings (I’ve been testing a TON of them over the past few weeks).
Hugs,
Jami
Love this look Jams! Very fun.
I´ve tried the Zink as well and am more than thrilled. Acne gone in a few days!!!
