Bionic Beauty supports National Breast Cancer Awareness Month
October is Breast Cancer Awareness month. In honor of this event and to show support, Bionic Beauty is going pink for the month.

The blog’s color scheme is changing to various shades of pink, and there will be features for endless amounts of skin care, hair care, and makeup products that are pledging money to Breast Cancer charities.

So, if you’ll be shopping for cosmetics this month, please have a look around for items sporting the pink ribbon. Every little bit helps!

In addition to featuring the special breast cancer products, this month Bionic Beauty will have pink-themed giveaways from your favorite brands! A new giveaway each week: Pink PedEggs, Nubar limited edition nail polishes, an exclusive Estee Lauder gift set, and gorgeous lipsticks from Loose Lips New York!

Don’t forget to check out and vote in the new Breast Cancer poll in the left sidebar of Bionic Beauty.

There’s also a ChipIn badge that allows you to donate a few bucks or cents to my chosen breast cancer charity: Breast Cancer Research Foundation. The BCRF was found by Evelyn Lauder (of the Estee Lauder family). And the BCRF is committed to researching until we find a cure! Please contribute if you can.

If you won’t be shopping, there are plenty of other ways to show your support for Breast Cancer. Here are some ideas to get you started…

  • Wear something pink.
  • Give yourself a cute pink manicure or pedicure, and for an extra spin, add a simple white ribbon overtop.
  • Update your MySpace, Facebook, Twitter statuses to show your support.
  • Add a pink ribbon or a statement showing your support to your email signature.
  • If you’re a blogger or webmaster, add a pink ribbon to your website. You can get lots of cute image options from the website.

Do you have any tips to help show support for Breast Cancer Awareness (BCA)? Will you be participating in any events in your area?
