September 5th marks the date that people across the globe are banding together to take a stand against cancer. Stand Up 2 Cancer (SU2C) is an initiative to raise awareness- we need to stand together to speak up, reach out and find a cure for these horrible diseases.
I had the chance to participate in a film project for SU2C. This video features bloggers- we each held a sign stating who or what we were standing for. So to continue my support to raise awareness, I’m sharing this video with my Bionic Beauty readers.
On September 5th, join me by changing your MySpace, Facebook, or Twitter status to “I’m Standing Up 2 Cancer”, post logos on your blogs or websites, add an email signature. You can find logos and ideas at the Virtual Stand Up 2 Cancer website.

Mary and Miro, Thanks for commenting and supporting this wonderful cause! I’m glad so many people are getting behind it.
To everyone, There’s a special this Friday night on all the major networks (ABC, CBS, and NBC). All three TV networks are airing a special Stand Up 2 Cancer feature loaded with celebrities and people close to the cause. Be sure to watch!
I’m even more proud today to know you Bionic Beauty!
And funny the timing of the telethon.. I just started on a fund raiser of my own to help battle cancer!

I will be sure to participate. My tribute is to Ashley Peterson who passed away this spring at the age of 5. Let’s all stand up together.

Jen, Your comment is so terribly sad. With all our technology these days it baffles me why we are still losing people so tragically.
Mom in Red High Heels, Thanks for posting the video on your blog and helping to spread the SU2C message!
Miroirc, Welcome to Bionic Beauty. I appreciate you commenting and helping to show your support for this effort!
