Eyelash conditioners and lengtheners are all the rage lately. Every time I turn to my favorite beauty blogs, I see another one mentioned. I haven’t tried any until now. I’m testing out DeaBella.
Instead of just doing before and after pictures… I decided to do a weekly journal. So once a week, I’ll post a new photo with my eyelash update.
Here’s my status on Day 1…

DeaBella does say it will take 2-8 weeks for results to show. So I figure I’ll be posting weekly shots for at least 2 months.
Have any of you ladies tried lash enhancers? If so, what were your results?

I tried this product and it had zero effect on my lashes…. I then switched to a product called Revitalash that my girlfriend had been using. I never realized what a huge difference lashes could make to your face, but OMG they do!!… I hope your results are better than mine…
I’m in the midst of trying RevitaLash (yet ANOTHER thing I bought at the Spa Expo), and I’m only into the end of my first week. I shoulda taken a picture on Day One as well to see whether it really works. So far, nothing noticeable, but if it takes that long, I guess nothing should be noticeable. I have noticed though that it stings just a bit after application – does this one too?
Nikki, Thanks for your info! I’m glad RevitaLash worked for you. I’d really love DeaBella to work since I want some long, lush lashes!
I’ll keep you posted on how it goes.
Robyn, Nikki said she had good luck with RevitaLash. Hopefully you will as well! And yes, DeaBella stings a bit too. The package says “that’s DeaBella working” but I suspect it’s some ingredient that stimulates the follicles? Just my thought. What’s your opinion?
Good luck! I can’t wait to see and hear the results. I agree, lush lashes would be nice for a change.
Joyce, I’ll keep ya updated. In the meantime, I’ll just glue my falsies on when I’m in the mood for extra-crazy lashes.
OK, you’re on Day 18 by now. Inquiring minds want to know – any difference? I’ve decided that the RevitaLash does work, but ummm… I dunno. I think I have MORE lashes, but they aren’t any thicker or anything. Without using a lash primer first, I wouldn’t be able to find ‘em without looking for the white stuff! It also kinda lightly stains my lash line – not that that’s a bad thing; it’s not very dark, and kind of gives a “permanent liner” look, though perhaps that fades if you stop using it. What about you?
Ahhh…. Robyn you caught me! My digital camera got broken recently and I’m sitting here learning to use my replacement right now actually. I’ll take an updated shot tonight.
I actually don’t see any huge difference. But it doesn’t sting anymore and no, the Dea Bella doesn’t stain. It’s like a clear gel.
Oh my, I need gorgeous lashes. haha
So, do any of the products come highly recommended?
Revonda, What’s strange is while I was using the DeaBella I didn’t notice much change. Here’s my Day 58 results: http://bionic-beauty.com/day58-deabella-lash-conditioner/
Not too different, right? After that photo, I went to applying it every few days at bedtime. And um… my lashes exploded! Here’s what I have now (Granted, this photo has a *very* light application of mascara): http://bionic-beauty.com/hip-gold-eyeliner-news/
So, personally, it worked great for me! But it just took some time.
I think you’ll notice if you start to use oils to clean off your makeup (I have a recipe on here somewhere for home-made eye makeup remover), it will help your lashes too. Plus when you apply that jojoba be sure you swipe a little across your eyes. Your lashes will love the conditioning just like your regular hair.

Jami, I SWEAR you’re my doppleganger! I started with the Revitalash when you started with Deabella, and now I’ve been using a lash conditioner every night as well
I was going to make one and carry it on the site, but I bought this instead: http://www.gardenofwisdom.com/catalog/item/6478020/6883425.htm. Much more cost efficient than buying the individual ingredients!
WOW! $9.30 for 3 mini tubes??? That’s super affordable! Thanks for the link Robyn!
Please, please please let me know how it works for you! (Okay, I’ve officially hit my limit for exclamation marks in this comment…)
