Bionic Giveaway - L'uvalla Organic Skincare Set!

In order to win…

Simply leave a comment below with a FACT you learned about organic skin care from the L’uvalla Skincare website. There’s a lot of mis-information and mis-labeling lately of organic and natural products in the beauty industry. So I thought we could all use a quick course on what “natural” and “organic” actually mean in the cosmetics world.

For instance, I learned that the “Eco-Cert COSMEBIO label, the most rigorous organic cosmetics recognition in the world, certifies that a minimum of 95% of total ingredients are natural and a minimum of 95% of plant ingredients are organic”.

The Rules: One (1) winner will be chosen randomly from the qualified entrants and will receive a L’uvalla Organic Skincare Balancing System set, as detailed above. Retail value is $101.62. To qualify for entry, you must follow the entry rules as outlined in this post. This giveaway is open to USA residents only. Please enter only once; duplicate entries will be detected and discarded. Entry deadline is January 19th, 2010 at midnight USA ET. The winner will be chosen via and will be announced here on Bionic Beauty and contacted via email. *Please note that I will never share your email address with anyone! I only use your email address to contact you if you are a winner. However, if you do not enter a valid email address, you will be disqualified. Please DO NOT post your email address in the comment body… *just* in the email address field (for your own safety).

Please don’t forget to sign up for the Bionic Beauty blog newsletter (or you can subscribe in your favorite RSS reader). This way you can easily keep up with the free samples, product reviews, beauty and makeup news and giveaways offered on the website.

Good luck Bionic Beauties!!

L’uvalla uses lotus extract as the “heart” of their line for its cleansing and antioxidant properties. ^__^

The Lotus Flower, a symbol of purity and transformation, is at the heart of the L’uvalla skin care line, which features the cleansing, antioxidant properties of Lotus extract.

I learned that the skin Is one of the most important organs of the body, and many researchers now believe that much of what we put on our skin is absorbed and can accumulate in our bodies. This would account for so much of the inflammations that the human body has to fight constantly. I guess that is why antioxidants are so necessary. These products are chalk full of them. These products seem wonderul.

I learned that there are no parabens found in their products. Parabens have been found in breast cancer tumors and so while not proven that parabens cause breast cancer, they are suspect.

Cosmébio is the Professional Association of Ecological and Organic Cosmetics, which certifies all L’uvalla products. I learned that organic product companies are committed to not harming animals or the environment. That’s great!

I learned that they symbolize the Lotus Flower, as purity and transformation. Which is what they consider as the heart of the L’uvalla skin care line, and it features the cleansing, antioxidant properties of Lotus extract. 😀

I love the Milk Cleanser. I am a dermatitis sufferer and this really hydrates my skin without any irritation. Amazing product!
