Bionic Giveaway: Nails n Lashes

by Bionic Beauty on 24.Apr.2009 · 49 comments

Win false eyelash and fingernails by Revlon - Bionic BeautyI received a TON Revlon glue-on nails and Fantasy Length eyelash kits recently. Since I will never be able to use them all myself, I’m sharing the fun with my loyal readers.

The first 35 people to comment on this article will win either a Revlon nail kit or a Revlon Fantasy Lengths Lash kit! Please try to leave a worthwhile comment… not just “hi”. I’d truly appreciate it.

I won’t be publicizing this contest except here on Bionic Beauty and Twitter so that my loyal readers have a chance to win. Enter quickly!

Please read the rules below… and be sure to check out my photos of the lashes in action!

Revlon Fantasy Lengths lashes in Intensifying:
Bionic Beauty reviews Revlon Fantasy Lengths eye lashes

Revlon lashes in Defining:

Other lash varieties include Chic, Black-Brown (same as Defining but a tad lighter in color), and Flirty. They are a bit difficult to apply. I really wish the “spine” of the lash was a more stiff. This would make application SO much easier. Lash kits include the eye lashes and glue.

The nail kits I’m giving away include Audrey (slightly square French Manicure style), Sequins (French Mani with glitter on the tips), Stella (French Mani with the white tip showing a subtle plaid pattern) and Vintage Velvet (a deep shimmering wine). All of them wear really well- I even did my gardening with a set on! Nail kits include the nails, smaller orange stick, glue, instructions and sponge file/buffer.

The Rules: The first 35 people to leave a comment on this article win the Revlon nail and lash kits described within this article. To qualify for entry, you must follow the entry rules as outlined in this post. This giveaway is open to United States residents only (sorry, I have to save on shipping). Please enter only once; duplicate entries will be detected and discarded. The winners will be chosen via and will be announced here on Bionic Beauty and contacted via email. Please DON’T leave your mailing address below (for safety’s sake). This contest is NOT sponsored by Revlon or affiliated with them in ANY way.
*Please note that I will never share your email address with anyone! I only use your email address to contact you if you are a winner. However, if you do not enter a valid email address, you will be disqualified. Please do not post your email in the comment itself… *just* in the email box (for your own safety).

Okay, you KNOW I was going to be all in this. I have been toying with the idea of trying false lashes and I keep hearing how good the Revlon ones are, esp for beginners.
So, I am tossing my hat in the ring to try to get some. 🙂
Thanks so much for sharing with us, Jami.

2 Tammy April 24, 2009 at 1:40 pm

Lol! Can’t believe that I’m second to comment. No one wants fake stuff? I’m all over the nails. Mine look like garbage, we’re going to a wedding soon, and I can be stylish!

3 Adina April 24, 2009 at 1:41 pm

What a fantastic giveaway! While I don’t subscribe to the press on nails, I LOVE LOVE LOVE false lashes! Thank you so much for the giveaway!

4 ~Michelle April 24, 2009 at 1:43 pm

I’m lucky to have long strong nails, but I can’t say the same about my lashes! 🙂 –Michelle, blogattoday ([at} gmaildotcom

5 Toni April 24, 2009 at 1:46 pm

Great giveaway! I definitely need some nails after all the gardening hours I’ve put in ! 🙂

6 Laura D April 24, 2009 at 1:46 pm

ooh! I’m number 3! I’ve never tried fake nails or lashes, but I’d like to…esp the nails. I have thick long lashes already, but when I want a dramatic look mascara just doesn’t do it–it gets too clumpy and thick! so fake lashes would be fun, too =)

thanks for doing this!

7 Ann April 24, 2009 at 1:47 pm

I’m so intrigued with the lash kit. I have short straight lashes and the thought of having lush lashes that actually show up is wonderful!

8 DaDiva Denise April 24, 2009 at 2:02 pm

Love me some falsies! Bring on the lashes. Don’t need any nails my hottie…..share those with someone else.
How cool.

9 Emily G April 24, 2009 at 2:08 pm

Fake lashes would be SO cool! I have been trying different mascaras for different looks, but there is only so much I can do w/my natural lashes… I agree w/you on the nail thing. A lot of times I want that manicured look w/o ruining my nail bed. I have never used this kind of nail before…would be very cool and I think my daughters would like them too. =o) Have a super weekend, Jami!

10 Angela April 24, 2009 at 2:23 pm

I would love to try some false lashes! I’ve never been brave enough to buy any, so this would be great for me. I have worn false nails maybe 3 times for special occasions, so I would love to try these out, too. Thanks for the giveaway, Jami!

11 Robyn @ PurelyCosmetics April 24, 2009 at 3:42 pm

I don’t trust myself with falsh eyelashes (applying mascara is dangerous enough for a second generation klutz), but nail stuff sounds fun!

Why am I not surprised that Paula is the first poster??? 🙂

12 Robin April 24, 2009 at 3:42 pm

I havent even tried false lashes since an unfortunate accident at Halloween several years ago where my friend accidentally glued my eyes shut. He had no idea that precision was important versus enthusiasm. So I’m all over the nails, not so much with the lashes though. This should be a great thing to try!

13 gypsydancermacaholic aka It's Called Maintenance April 24, 2009 at 3:46 pm

I had no idea Revlon carried lashes. They look great and yet still a bit natural, I love that.
Thanks for sharing the info and goodies! 🙂

14 Annie April 24, 2009 at 4:38 pm

Oh la la! I can’t wait to try this. I can’t believe how natural the eye lashes look! It sound like the perfect time to try them out!

15 Chrissie April 24, 2009 at 6:12 pm

I’d love to try these kits! My nails could always use the love, and my lashes, too! These are great giveaways!

16 gracieo April 24, 2009 at 6:19 pm

17 Nicki April 24, 2009 at 6:26 pm

20 gahome2mom April 24, 2009 at 7:17 pm

I am interested in the Revlon nail kit but I am not picky. lol Thanks.

21 Kristinia April 24, 2009 at 7:19 pm

I’d love to try this because I have short eyelashes, they won’t grow out any longer! My 2 year old son has longer lashes than me and I’m jealous!

22 Cindy April 24, 2009 at 7:22 pm

The eyelashes look beautiful and I love different styles of polished nails they make your hands look so finished.

23 Erin Lowmaster April 24, 2009 at 7:25 pm

I’m interested in either though I favor the nail kit. I was referred by a friend and am going to have to subscribe to your blog as this is my first time here. Thanks! 🙂

29 Mo April 24, 2009 at 8:13 pm

I want lashes, please give me lashes!!
Does it help if I say I love you? 😉

30 Mo April 24, 2009 at 8:21 pm

Have you seen black lash glue anywhere in your extensive drugstore scouting by chance? I can find it online easily, but I’d prefer to just run out and get some… I figure that if anyone can tell me a major retailer that has it, it would be you!

31 Judy April 24, 2009 at 8:25 pm

You are super generous! Those eyelashes look fun! Black eye lash glue? Didn’t know they made it!

32 Bionic Beauty April 24, 2009 at 8:56 pm

I’m SO happy you ladies are enjoying this giveaway. I will try my best to honor each of your wishes for nails or lashes, but some might not get exactly what they wanted. I have 13 sets of nails and 22 sets of lashes. Hopefully it will work out. 🙂

Mo, Ruh roh (to quote Scooby Doo)… I didn’t even know there was black lash glue! Although when I was putting my lashes on today, I thought- why don’t they make this stuff black?!? or at least nude? I’m going to dig through my drugstores on my next trip though. I *will* find some!

33 Charlene Kuser April 24, 2009 at 9:25 pm

long eyelashes and now that I have gotten older I look at them
and think man where did they go to,they have disappeared!

38 Lucy April 25, 2009 at 12:16 am

How exciting is this! I would like to win the lashes Chic. I’ve never worn false lashes. Would be nice to try them out for free. I would really love to try the nails in Vintage Velvet. I’ve seen the color of the nails and I love it. I’ve also never worn false nails. Like to try them for when my polish is chipped and I’ve no time to fix them.

39 Bionic Beauty April 25, 2009 at 12:20 am

These actually look good. I don’t have great eye lashes like my daughter(who got them from my husband) With these, we’ll look more like mother and daughter.

42 Kimberly April 26, 2009 at 2:37 am

I just recently re-discovered glue on nails & I love them! They are quick & easy, plus there are a ton of cute styles to choose from!

43 Judy June 7, 2009 at 9:51 am

I am really interested in the Revlon eyelashes. My lashes are short and not real thick. I have tried many mascara’s over the years. Eventually they all smear under my bottom lashes. So now I have tried a waterproof mascara. Another mistake! When I apply it for some unknown reason it gets on my eyelids. I have tried to get it off with makeup remover. ANOTHER big mistake. As the day goes on, my eyelids get oily and enters my eyes and I wear contacts. I would really like to try the black eyelashes. PLEASE HELP ME!

I love press ons because they look just as good as salon nails to me. I used to do nails when I was younger but since I have started going back to school I have neither the money or the time to get them done professionally. I hope whomever wins has a great ” me time ” session and enjoys themselves putting them on.
