Welcome to another Bionic Beauty giveaway! Thevi Cosmetics has kindly sponsored this contest so you all have a chance to win one of their High Impact Lipsticks in True Rouge. These lipsticks are super comfortable to wear and are rich in pigment… they are a favorite of The Bionic Mom!

1 Diane November 9, 2009 at 7:50 pm: “Normal” as in everyday, is just chapstick. But normal like, when I actually put on makeup, I have to have black mascara (I have like 3 brands and grab whatever one my hand finds first) and usually some black eyeliner.
2 Becca November 9, 2009 at 8:33 pm: My makeup routine normally starts with bareMinerals foundation in fairly light. Then, a quick swipe of nuetral eyeshadow, black mascara on top lashes, and eyeliner applied lightly along the bottom lashes help define my eyes. I finish with pink powder blush and Nivea tinted lip balm. I tend to stick with the natural look.

4 Stacy Weichel November 9, 2009 at 8:41 pm: my normal routine is mainly eyes. I mostly wear MineralFace Fx shadows and I use my Flirt mascara that I won in my auction. I also try to wear my sample of Purley Cosmetics foundation. It offers fantastic coverage and doesn’t irritate my skin. I also use my L’Oreal Hip Gloss Duo that I got in the auction as well.

6 Anne Taylor November 9, 2009 at 9:06 pm: Normal everyday makeup routine…… wash my face with goat’s milk soap, some under eye concealer (Lancome), eyeliner blk (Lancome usually) mascara (Lancome Definicils) and lipgloss (I have many, juicey tubes, covergirl, etc.)

1. Cleanse, tone & moisturize
2. Primer (Smashbox or Clarins)
3. Foundation (Cinema Secrets)
4. Concealer ( Cinema Secrets)
5. Eyebrow wax (Revlon)
6. Mascara (Tarte)
7. Lip gloss (Stila) or Chapstick (Blistex or Nivea)

It sounds like a lot when I type it but it’s really not……LOL!!

When I get a job, I’ll NEED lipstick!!!!

22 Yvonne Calderon November 10, 2009 at 2:13 pm: Here goes: I use Loreal True Match Foundation and Pressed Powder, concealer when needed. I then line my eyes with either dark brown Victoria’s Secret Crayon Liner or Revlon Colorstay Liner in Black. I use different brands/colors of eyeshadow depending on my clothes. Right now, I am really into Milani and Revlon Eyeshadows. Covergirl Mascara, Exact Lash I think is what it’s called, I broke the tube that had the name, it’s in a purple tube. For lips, Revlon Matte in Mauve it over is working and my trusty Super Luminous Lip Gloss, which is also Revlon. I am totalling working the Revlon!!!!
As for Skin Care, I am currently using the Burke-Williams Spa line. Love it! Everyone have a great day!!!!!!

24 Valerie November 10, 2009 at 6:40 pm: I’m a makeup girl for sure! I never wear heavy makeup, but, my routine is probably more complicated than most Skincare and primers are about half of it. I’m not loyal to any one brand. Color cosmetics are MAC mostly with some other brands mixed in like Smashbox, Lorac, Lipstick Queen, Fusion Beauty, Rimmel mascara etc… Thanks for the chance at this lipstick. It looks great!

28 Emily November 10, 2009 at 7:14 pm: I use a primer, moisturizer and mousse foundation. I like the drugstore brands best, and I use a cosmetic sponge to apply lightly. I then use a mineral foundation with this great Kabuki brush from Avon. Then I use some kind of eye shadow, like E.L.F. mineral shadows or Bare Escentuals. I like to occasionally line my eyes, and I usually wear mascara. My best mascara has been Maybelline, but I also like Avon’s. I have just recently started incorporating more colorful shadows into my regimen, and I like the results so far.

31 Michelle November 10, 2009 at 7:35 pm: I will normally put on a foundation (either mineral or a sponge on) some powder (MAC), mascara ( right now I’m using Maybelline) and maybe a little eyeshadow. When I want to mix it up I will switch out neutral eyeshadow for a little green. I will always put on some sort of lipgloss (MAC, right now). I try and do this as fast as possible

I use BRTC Blemish Recover Balm instead of foundation, but I do use MAC concealer for under-eye discoloration and as eyeshadow base on my eyelids. I fill in my brows with MAC Cork shadow, and if I don’t have time for eyeliner, I at LEAST put on mascara. Depending on what look I’m going for, I either use Covergirl LashBlast Luxe, Maybelline Stilleto, Tarte Lights, Camera, Lashes or Too Faced Lash Injection. The other must is lip gloss, and I tend to go back and forth with Fresh’s Sugar lip gloss, MAC lip glass in Date Night, or Three Custom Color in Be Bright Pink.

That’s my bare-bones daily face. Beyond that it just depends on where I’m going and how much time I have for what eyeshadow I put on to go with it. ^__^V

Always must have eyeliner and mascara! And usually use a lip gloss though I really am curious about the realm of lipsticks.

44 Frieda Shor November 12, 2009 at 7:15 pm: Concealer is a bare necessity–The order is Water, YSL Touch Eclat, Oxygen, and bread(Unless you are a follower of The Atkins Diet or other “Carbs Are Evil Diets”.

YSL’s concealer adds light to my eyes and makes the circles look non-existent…(what circles???)

then create illusion of texture with bare minerals.

1. Cleanse (Cetaphil Anti-bacterial cleansing bar for sensitive skin)
2. Moisturize (Neutrogena Visibly Even Daily Moisturizer with SPF 30)
3. Concealer (Smashbox Camera Ready Full Coverage Concealer)
4. Mascara (Maybelline Lash Discovery Washable Mascara)
5. Lip Gloss (Pout Plump [this line is discontinued!])

That’s it! I keep it simple. But since Pout is discontinued, I am on the lookout for new lip-wear!!

61 shwetha November 18, 2009 at 5:31 pm: on clean skin i just apply moisturiser. dont usually wear foundation as i feel uncomfortable.also very hard to find the right shade for an indian skin tone.since i have combination skin i dust some loose powder over the oily zones. being an indian i love khol. even if i use colours i hv to line my lower and upper rims with black khol pencil. i love shades of gold for eyeshadow. its a colour that flatters my skin tone the most. i use maybeline mousse blush shade 20.it give a nice glow to my face due to the shimemr particles in it (better than applying shimmer and blush seperately). day time i stick to a neutral gloss witha slight shimmer. night i love wearing red on my lips. looks great with my skin tone. though i always find it very hard to find the right shade. i stay away from purples. they dont flatter my skin tone.

63 emily November 18, 2009 at 7:50 pm: my normal routine after cleansing & moisturizing includes foundation (avon), loose powder (clinique), eyebrow pencil (avon), clear mascara for eyebrows (cover girl), blush (MAC), eyeshadows (usually MAC or clinique), eye pencil (MAC), mascara (avon), lipgloss (MAC) sounds like a lot but i can do it in under 10 minutes!!

I always make sure my lips are done, I’m funny about that. Brown shadow has always been a staple; always works. I have ovarian cancer and am bald, so I match my lipstick to whatever scarf I’m wearing, so at least I look a little bit put together and it works for me. I am a lipstick junkie and would love to win this contest, as I’ve never tried this brand before.
