Featured Ingredient: Spin Trap
This is a skincare formulator’s dream ingredient. When I first read about spin traps in skincare, the thought of possibly using it in one of our formulas felt like a dream. Who knew it would become a foundation of the entire brand! It’s an extremely costly ingredient, but is literally THE cutting-edge in skincare, so we had to use it.

Spin trap functions as an antioxidant, but not in the traditional manner. Instead of destroying free radicals, it restores balance to unstable molecules and does a better job of protecting our cells from damage.

Because nature has all the best products!!! XD

47 Marjorie Pfetzing July 2, 2009 at 12:50 am

In the Restore product, I love the fact that it has Vitamin C, and that the Vita C is an ascorbic acid. The fact that Vitamin C is more stabilized is wonderful. This ingredient helps with Cell turnover and brightening your skin. I have some age spots, shadows and discoloration on my skin. It is very embarrassing for me to be out and about without makeup to cover this, I even feel self conscious in my home without makeup.

Niacin is an anti-inflamatory, I have used this before on my face and love it. I have some breakouts and the Niacin takes away redness.

I am totally intrigued with the concept of “spin trap” antioxidants. It appears that this ingredient helps with the repair of cells and not just the obliteration of discoloration.

This sounds like a fantastic product. It seems to be light weight and still offer both moisture and a boost of collagen. While I do not have a lot of wrinkles yet, I still need some firming action on my skin.
