As a skin care junkie due to a history as a former cosmetics salesperson (thanks for sparking *that* addiction, retail beauty department!) I am always on the lookout for the latest, greatest, and MOST EFFECTIVE treatment products. Syn-ake and Syn-tacks sound like some pretty potent active ingredients! Who wants more toned skin with an immediate reduction in the appearance of wrinkles? ME, that’s who!!

Two of the products that interest me are the argireline (acetyl hexapeptide-3),which is a wrinkle smoother. The other peptide I found interesting was matrixyl 3000 (palmitoyl oligopeptide, palmitoyl tetrapeptide-3,which is used in place of a retnol product. They said it is a close cousin to vitamin A, which helps the skin to heal and will not make it sensitive to sunlight. There were so interesting ingredients in these products. I also liked the Idebenone which is a cousin to CoQ10 a very important suppliment for heart health. It is not surprising that it would be great for our skin. As I read through the list of ingredients I went back to one of the most important alpha lipoic acid. This not only great for skin but I take the suppliment for my liver health. I read that it is a wonderful amino acid for the skin as well. The list of ingredients is impressive. These products seem like they would be very effective.

Peptides and anti-oxidants as a whole, are exciting breakthroughs for those of us not thrilled with needles. Matrixyl 3000 and Spin-Trap seem like the perfect combination of prevention and repair. And, I’m still a believer in vitamins C, E, with idebenone for deep collagen promotion.

Fingers crossed!! Thank you for the chances, YBF and Bionic!!
