Welcome to another installment of Bionic Beauty Homemade with Joycey Couture!

It’s Summertime and sandals are a must! Treat your feet to a homemade scrub with this simple recipe.

Ingredients you’ll need… which you probably already have around the house!

  • 1/2 cup of sugar
  • 2 tablespoons of lotion, cream, or body butter
Bionic Beauty's homemade DIY Sugar Scrub for feet

Whip up your own moisturizing sugar scrub!

Mixing it up…

Mix the sugar and lotion in a bowl. Massage the mixture onto each foot for a few minutes to exfoliate. Take a few minutes to massage your feet to break up tension and soreness.

Rinse with warm water, pat dry, and you are done! For a complete at-home pedicure, follow up with a bit more lotion to really moisturize and soften feet.

Stay Bionic,

Perfect Robyn! Let me and Joyce know how it works for you and if you add anything else to make your “recipe” different. I add some different oils each time depending on my mood. :)

The first batch I made, I did the above as directed. I used by Olay of Olay Body Quench. The smell of this lotion is soooooo clean, I mean you do not need to mix a scent when using this lotion. I can never keep enough at the house both men and women use on face, legs, feet etc.
Of course it goes fast. ~Trust me you like clean smell do this. It came out perfect and no need to buy anymore. Go to any drugstore and buy plastic jars with tight lid. ~~Your done! ~~(of course to make a good amount increase your units and store.) Tell Joyce thanks for me.

When making a batch that you want to add oils, the best thing to do
is find one that really does not have a scent to it. After rummaging through by stash of lotions and potions, I found one, and added
“Rose Oil”. Ahhhhhhhhhh…. I smelt like a rose garden. Needless to say you can spread this from the foot and do your legs also. Really nice,
again “Thanks Joyce”. I am going to try every oil there is now !!!! Since I live in Hawaii we are always wearing rubber slippers, so it wears on your feet. Pedi’s are a must in paradise.
