Bionic-onomics: Reuse that meds cotton!

Cosmetic, makeup and skin care tips from Bionic Beauty
Being the super thrifty gal that I am, and always looking for ways to reuse even the simplest things, I thought up this gem of a tip…

You know that wad of cotton jammed in the top of medication bottles? Don’t just pitch it! Pull it out and snip it into cotton ball sized chunks (I normally snip mine into 3 portions). Then use the recycled cotton to remove nail polish from your toes or fingers!

Eco-friendly, thrifty and frugal!

Note: I do *not* recommend using this cotton on your face (for toners and such) since the medication could have leeched into the cotton. But for removing nail polish it functions just perfect!

I love this tip! So frugal and fabulous.
Here’s one I have:
If you buy new blush that comes with a brush, but you already have a fancy blusher brush, don’t throw away that free one. Use it to blend your eyeshadow for a polished look.

I think Tyra Banks revealed this secret one her show, but I’m the one who came up with it first….You know the restroom seatcovers? Well, in a pinch u can use that as an oily skin blotter. Just use a small piece around your t-zone, when you are on the go and don’t have your powder handy. Works wonders!!
