I can’t hide my excitement… I’ve had the same flat iron for 6 years now. A Con-Air version I picked up at the local Sally’s. It works okay, but the straightness never held all day and my ends looked fried.
In order to reduce my search time, I turned to John at Misikko. Misikko is my go-to resource for anything hair related. John suggested the new Hana Mini Flat Iron ($64 at Misikko).
When it arrived, I eagerly tore open the box to find the tiniest flat iron I’ve ever seen! This certainly fulfilled my “travels easily” requirement. It fits in the palm of my hand (see my photo)! The iron paddles extend out with a slight pull so you have a larger iron to work with (see other photo). I got mine in pink, but it’s also available in blue. And it even comes with a carry case!
The iron heats to an even temp of 410 degrees and worked perfect to straighten my hair. It stayed SOFT and straight through the day. No fried ends, no pulling or breakage of my strands. So, I’ve finally made it into the 21st century with my new Hana Mini ceramic flat iron!
