In honor of Breast Cancer Awareness month, I’ve been sporting a “Pink Ribbon” manicure for the past few days.
Bionic Beauty's Pink Ribbon Nails
I started with 2 coats of OPI’s Pompeii Purple nail polish and then used Duri’s Bridal Bells to draw the classic ribbon on my thumbnails.
Once that dried completely, I used Sally Hansen’s Nail Art Pen in Silver to add some dimension to the ribbon (I just traced the right side to make it “pop”).
Follow with your favorite clear top coat. The top coat is very important if you use the Sally Hansen Nail Art Pens… otherwise I’ve found your little masterpiece will rub off within a few hours. Major bummer!
What are your thoughts? Have you done anything creative to show your support of Breast Cancer Awareness month?

Very pretty! I need to redo my nails, I’ve had some dark electric blue polish on for about 2 weeks and it has stayed on pretty well, besides the occasional chips. I’m getting tired of it though, and since I got 30 or so polishes for $4, I should have plenty of options to choose from.
