I'd still advise that one exercise caution when putting anything around one's eyes. However it is *not* a dedicated eye serum. It's a face serum, just to be perfectly clear. Also, it looks like Boots does not test on animals, however many of their suppliers (ingredients suppliers, etc) do. I hope this helps! I've had good results with their concealer as well. I just bought Botanics' shadow base on June 28th ($8.99 for a tiny tub -- not sure how long it will last). It blends remarkably well into one's skin, even if it does only come in one shade, and seems to work well in tandem with my other makeup. I just wish that Target would adopt the same return policies for cosmetics as CVS has! If ya don't like something from Target, you're outta luck, unless you're allergic to it, or if you get some other bad reaction to it. A person could lie, but that's just wrong.
