For every pink Bionic Beauty T Shirt sold during the month of October, I will donate $1.00 to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation. It makes no matter to me what design, size, type (tank, spaghetti strap cami, T, night shirt, whatever) as long as it’s pink.

September 5th marks the date that people across the globe are banding together to take a stand against cancer. Stand Up 2 Cancer (SU2C) is an initiative to raise awareness- we need to stand together to speak up, reach out and find a cure for these horrible diseases.

I had the chance to participate in a film project for SU2C. This video features bloggers- we each held a sign stating who or what we were standing for. So to continue my support to raise awareness, I’m sharing this video with my Bionic Beauty readers.

On September 5th, join me by changing your MySpace, Facebook, or Twitter status to “I’m Standing Up 2 Cancer”, post logos on your blogs or websites, add an email signature. You can find logos and ideas at the Virtual Stand Up 2 Cancer website.

I’m completely thrilled to be featured in the August - September 2008 issue of On Makeup Magazine! OMM chose 52 beauty and makeup bloggers to feature in this issue, and there’s Bionic Beauty on page 4. So I, of course, had to share my happiness with my readers.

Just a little personal post here. I thought I’d share a photo of my pet hedgehog, Captain Aubrey. She’s 4 years old, which is quite old for a hedgehog and weighs around 425 grams. She is a total diva and as you can see, she’s posing on her very own “couch” (I also bought her a Bratz “tent”).

Aubrey goes to “the spa” monthly. We do a bath with Aveeno’s tearless baby shampoo and then a warm water rinse, followed by a nice pedicure (i.e. nail trim). She actually enjoys the baths and swims around in the sink afterwards.
