Review: Back to Basics Color Protect Shampoo

Back to Basics Shampoos always awake our senses with lovely scents and a thick moisturizing feeling.
Back to Basics Blue Lavendar, Sulfate-Free Shampoo

Their Color Protect shampoo stays on track. Infused with blue lavendar and sulfate-free, this shampoo is gentle on colored hair yet leaves you with a squeaky clean feel. In our tests, the shampoo left our hair smelling fresh, but you do have to use more product than usual. It’s harder to achieve the nice “sudsing” action, however this could be due to the fact that this shampoo is Sulfate-Free. (Sulfates can strip colored hair quicker.)

If you shop around (i.e. not your local high-end spa), you can find this Back-to-Basics product for an affordable price.
Drugstore.com has the Back to Basics Blue Lavender Color Protect Shampoo, Sulfate Free For Color Treated Hair priced at only $8.95 for an 11.5 oz bottle.

Recommended for fine, color-treated hair; but this may be too moisturizing if you don’t need the heavy conditioning.
