I’ve gotten two already and just love getting 5 free makeup items. You still have to pay shipping & handling (which is pretty expensive actually. Mine runs around $6 for a typical order.), but its a fun way to try out new face, eye or lip colors and stock up for summer travel- especially since most of their products are the PERFECT travel size.

e.l.f.’s Tone Correcting Concealer - Quite the Bargain!
This teeny tube of concealer is my new favorite. My under eye circles have finally met their match!

E.l.f’s products are hit and miss with me. I like their Tinted Moisturizer, love their cream shadow duos, am blase about the Shimmering Facial Whip, but their concealer is perfect for me.
It comes packaged in a tube with a soft-tipped wand applicator (like many lip glosses). I appreciate the tube being clear as it makes it easy to judge how much product remains. Application was easy. I tried putting it underneath my standard face makeup (apply, then let it set for a minute or two) and also on top of my makeup/tinted moisturizer and both worked equally well. If you are using this with a powdered mineral makeup, be sure to apply the concealer first. (A liquid over top of a powder product creates horrendous clumping action.)
All day wear, no running and no creasing, and it covered so beautifully! I can’t really ask for more than that.
The only drawbacks I experienced: 1) The cap on mine separated from the swab applicator, so I have to remove the cap, and then unscrew the applicator wand and 2) the product tends to separate a little in the tube, but a few quick shakes remedies this situation.
The
Tone Correcting Concealerby e.l.f. cosmetics can be purchased online for $1, or try your local K-Mart store.

E.l.f.’s Shielding Hydro Tinted Moisturizer

I’m a fan of all things Tinted Moisturizer. And for $1.00, I splurged and purchased a tube of e.l.f.’s Shielding Hydro Tint with SPF 15.
Pros:
- SPF 15 and color coverage in one product.
- Perfect size for travel. The tube is surprisingly tiny, but for only a dollar…
- Easy to blend and contains Kaolin clay which is healthy for your skin.
- Staying power is incredible for a makeup this affordable.
- Buildable coverage worked well for me in my under eye circles and other splotches.
- Pleasant, light citrus fragrance that smells fresh.
- Not tested on animals.
Cons:
- Only available in 3 tones/shades (I chose Tone 2 which worked well for my medium skin with yellow/olive undertones).
- Packaging size is small, but really is perfect for airplane travel regulations these days.
- May be too moisturizing for those with oily skin.
- This product is certainly not organic and contains parabens, phosphates, and much more.
You can purchase the e.l.f.’s Tinted Moisturizer Shielding Hydro Tint with SPF 15 at some Kmart stores or online for $1.
Please read on for a full listing of ingredients in the e.l.f. Tinted Moisturizer…
