In February, Walmart offered free samples of Jergen’s Natural Glow Express sunless tanner. After a few weeks of sitting, I had the chance to give this a try. I have to mention this was one of the nicest sized samples. It was a large packet with a full half ounce of product.

The lotion was rich and super creamy- very moisturizing and smelled wonderful! It actually seemed more like a body butter than a lotion; however it still sunk in relatively quick. But it did not seem to color my skin, even after 4-5 days worth of use. For this reason, it would be great for sunless tanner beginners, but if you are looking for more color, I would not recommend this product. It, however, is a fantastic lotion and if used daily as your sole moisturizer would probably build up a bit of color on your skin.

Jergen’s skincare has launched the campaign “Glow in the Dark” in support of the The Skin Cancer Foundation. Skin cancer is the most common form of cancer in the United States with greater than 1 million cases diagnosed every year.

With the sunlight months approaching, we all need to be mindful of our skin exposure. Wear your SPF! Sunglasses, hats, however you cover up, please do it. Encourage your hubbies, roomies, significant others, friends to do the same.

Walmart.com has done it again. New free samples are posted. This time of Jergen’s Natural Glow Express. This is Jergen’s latest foray into the sunless tanner/moisturizer combo. The tanner ingredients are a bit increased in this lotion, giving you a “full shade” of darker tan in just three days.

Supplies are limited, act quickly (and all that jazz). Enjoy!

Essence magazine is offering free samples of Jergen’s Shea Butter lotion. While I’m not normally a Jergen’s fan (the scents just seem “off” to me), the Shea Butter version that I tried is simply rocking. Very moisturizing and great for all-over body lotion or just hands, feet, or rough spots. The scent also seems much more laid back than their normal offerings.

If you hurry, Essence is also offering a free copy of their book-of-the-month “Someone Knows My Name” by Lawrence Hill. Two freebies in one! Can’t beat that. The free sample offer expires February 29, 2008 (or when supplies run out).

Recently Bionic posted the Jergen’s samples offered by Wal-Mart. Now, the Jergen’s website itself is offering samples of their 3 lotion products. Mmmm…moisturizing!
