Total Beauty just opened their own version of beauty product awards. They’ve narrowed the field to 59 of the “best” products, now it’s open to readers to vote. Voting ends March 31st, so if you’re feeling sharey head on over and vote for your faves…

I know Total Beauty tends to focus on main-stream, big-advertiser, sponsored brands- so many of our personal favorites here on Bionic Beauty probably won’t be mentioned… And that’s why I’m opening it up to BB readers to share *your* favorite products and brands.

True, it’s very relaxing to have a long, hot soak in the tub; but my daily schedule just doesn’t allow it. I’m a hop-in-the-shower type of woman. I do try to schedule time for a soak once a week though. What’s your preference?

Whether you have the social calendar that rivals Paris Hilton or plan to lay low this holiday, I want to know if you’ll be creating a special makeup look. Perhaps for an office party, a night on the town with friends, or sitting by TV with your significant other. Extra sparkles in your eyeshadow, or a deeper red lip… stepping away from your traditional makeup can be fun this time of year. Cooler weather seems to let our creative makeup side run a bit wilder. We can use bolder shades and looks than what we’d normally wear.

The overwhelming majority of us rotate our shampoo and conditioners. Various reasons were given from: buying what’s on sale, the desire to try new brands, being influenced by coupons and freebies, recommendations from friends, and experience that hair does best when a variety of hair care is used.
See? We are all more alike than we realize!

I know some people feel their hair performs better and is more manageable if they use a different brand of shampoo. So they’ll rotate when a bottle runs out, or use another brand/type of shampoo once or twice a week. What’s your preference?

This week’s Bionic Asks… of course deals with Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
I know that all month long we hear about it, and yes, it can be overwhelming, but we truly need to raise funds to find a cure for this disease. We can carry a computer in our palm, launch Space Shuttles, and fund silly reality TV shows, but we can’t find a cure for Breast Cancer. It just seems crazy to me.

So what are your thoughts on Breast Cancer Awareness month? And how do you honor it?
