Welcome to Bionic Beauty’s 2009 Charity Auctions!!

This year’s auctions will benefit the Genesis House and Karma Dogs. 100% of all monies received by the auctions will go straight to these charities (I do keep the exact amount out to cover shipping, since I’m not rich… unfortunately, sigh). This is YOUR chance to grab some truly amazing makeup, skin care, hair care, spa and beauty products for super discounts!

First, here’s a bit about the charities that are close to my heart…

Karma Dogs: Believing that one good turn deserves another, Karma Dogs is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization that seeks to improve the lives of others through relationships with therapy dogs. Our primary functions include improving literacy skills among elementary school students and working with children and adults with developmental disabilities to improve communication and socialization skills. Finally, we want everyone to enjoy dogs as much as we do and teach children how to be safe and responsible around dogs.

Genesis House of Melbourne, FL: It is the mission of Genesis House, Inc. to provide safe shelter for homeless pregnant women, transitional shelter for homeless mothers and their children, and long-term housing for student mothers with their children while the mothers complete their education. Genesis House, Inc. is committed to providing a safe, supportive, caring environment. Education, self-discipline, self-reliance, and independence from the welfare system are earnestly promoted. Counseling, personal improvement classes, and appropriate health care are obtained for all residents. Classes in childbirth and parenting are provided as needed.

1. Leave a comment below with which Auction Package(s) you’re bidding on and how much you are bidding. Please don’t leave your mailing address below (for security’s sake). Check the bids before and after yours- and feel free to comment back with an updated bid!
2. Optional: If you’d rather grab the package, click the Buy Now button. You’ll still pay just a fraction of the actual value but you don’t have to worry about missing your chance for a package you really want!
3. If you are the highest bidder, I’ll email you.
4. Payments will be made through Paypal. You do not have to have a Paypal account to pay through this method. You can still pay using any major credit card.
5. Sorry, but due to fees and other logistics, bidding is only open to USA residents.

**Some notes: I decided to hold these auctions here on Bionic Beauty since most auction sites charge extra fees and I wanted as much money to go to the charities as possible.
Please tell your friends and family and whomever else would be interested in bidding on the beauty goodies. The more, the merrier!
Once all the charity auctions are completed, I will post the donation certificate showing our collective donation raised by the Bionic Beauty readers. I will split the money raised between Karma Dogs and Genesis House. That way you’ll know the money is going where it’s supposed to.
