China Glaze Summer Days nail polish

Summer lovin’ had me a blast… well, you know the rest. Summer 2009 is just around the corner and China Glaze has brought us all some festive glittery goodness for our tips and toes.

The Summer Days collection is packed with fruit-inspired colors that sparkle. My favorites are Watermelon Rind (Thank you China Glaze for including a green… there are just not enough green polishes in this world!), Grape Juice, and surprisingly the orange juicey, Orange Marmalade.

All colors shown are 2 coats. Base coat was CND’s Sticky, and a top coat of Seche Vite. These polishes were not gritty, wore well (all photos are shown on Day 3 so you’ll see some tip wear), and the pigmentation is incredible.

Watermelon Rind – This color is much more forest green and less teal in person. The brilliant sun outside brings out the teal undertones. This is definitely my favorite from the collection!

Cherry Pie – An eye popping red with self-colored and deep pink shimmers.  There’s a slight warm tone with a red-orange base to this polish. It would probably work very well on those with warmer skin tones.

Grape Juice – I LOVE purple polish (almost as much as I love green nail polish) and Grape Juice did not disappoint. A lighter purple with shimmer galore. Definitely one of my favorites and highly recommended!

Orange Marmalade – I’m usually swayed by the more unusual polish colors, but Orange Marmalade sucked me in. It’s so punchy and happy. I can’t wait to get this on my toes for summer vacation.

Raspberry Festival – In this photo, Raspberry Festival appears close to Cherry Pie (above), but the base of this red is more cool-toned. This is an excellent “red” for cool-toned or pale-skinned ladies!

Strawberry Fields – Another shocker for me. I am not a “pink girl”. Strawberry Fields upped the ante though with a deep pink cream and loads of pink and gold-toned glitter. I think this is my favorite pink polish ever.

This collection is definitely a winner in my book. Great colors for multiple skin tones and classic China Glaze spectacular wear.
Plus you can get them for only $2.99 a bottle at!

I love China Glaze polish. I would love to see pictures of these colors! Maybe I should just hop on over to Sally Beauty!

Kathie and Danielle, It turns out Google’s Picasa (who I use to host my photographs on Bionic Beauty) was undergoing some upgrades the other day. The photos are all visible now. Please let me know if you continue to have any issues viewing Bionic Beauty and I’ll be happy to trouble shoot and sort them out. I want this website to be easy for you all to use and visit! 😀

Gracieo and Jen, Aren’t they soooo pretty? I love the purple too! Wearing it now on my toes. Woo!
