I use a fluffy shadow brush (about 1/4" wide) for sweeps across the lid, then I detail with smaller smudge brushes and the like. I also love to use them for eyeliners and they blend out to create a perfect smoky eye. :) Let me know if you try them. I'm wearing them quite a bit this fall.
