Pencil Me In Eyeliner in Indigo – An Affordable Blue Alternative

Coastal Scents Eyeliner
While the eye’s of makeup junkies everywhere are focused on MAC’s latest “Naughty Nauticals” collection, this bargain shopper has found an alternative to give your peepers the summer look. Pencil Me In’s eyeliner in Indigo is a real winner. The slate blue eyeliner has a bit of shimmer to open your eyes and deflect light. It applies incredibly smooth and even comes with it’s own sharpener in the cap! The pigment is rich and saturated.

I’ve used this blue to line my entire eye (top and bottom), just the top and even blended it out for a smoky blue haze look. No irritation and it sets quickly and wears through the day.

The best part? This eyeliner will only set you back $6.99 (available at and is available in 30 (yes, thirty!) colors. MAC’s is$14.99. Excellent!

This is excellent news, Jami. I’ve been looking for just this color – and just this price! Plus, they say that the blues help offset any redness one might have in one’s eyes. I have a couple of red vein thingees in one eye that seem to be permanent, so I can’t wait to get this pencil.

Suzann, I have some of those lines as well in the whites of my eyes, and blue certainly helps. And I really like how this blue has some gray mixed in to make it more wearable for everyday. And the slight shimmer helps bounce light off your eyes too!

Victoria, So far everything I’ve tried from Coastal Scents has been wonderful. Here are some of my reviews:
Just scroll down through them to see them all. There are 6 in total so far. I also have some of their mineral makeup which I like but haven’t reviewed yet, and I have one of their shadow brushes that is just super soft and shaped perfectly. It never loses bristles. Let me know what you try!
