Can you get a Cosmetic Surgeon in a Jar?

cosmetic surgeon in a jar eyelifter serumCosmetic Surgeon in a Jar is a product line of anti-aging skincare founded by plastic surgeon Dr. Stephen Greenberg. I had the chance to review their Triple Action Eye Serum “Eye Lifter”.

What the company says about Eye Lifter: Eye Lifter is a triple action eye serum that reduces the appearance of fine lines, dark circles and puffiness by increasing collagen synthesis. Eye Lifter’s special complex goes to work on visible wrinkles to add the moisture your most delicate eye area needs.

Bionic’s Review: This eye cream provides a nice light layer of moisture for my eyes. It doesn’t sting or bother my eyes. I love the extra bits of Titanium Dioxide that help bounce the light around the eye area making it appear lighter and brighter. The pump keeps the product sanitary but it dispenses a little too much product with one pump. In order to avoid waste, I used the extra on my neck. If you need major moisture in your eye area (like in a super dry climate), you might look for a more creamy product. But for most people this should suffice.

Eye Lifter includes Dimethicone which provides “slip” on your skin. Since dimethicone fills gaps, pores and evens skin- it’s perfect to include in primers. Hence, Eye Lifter makes a good choice for use morning (before your makeup routine) and evening. The rest of the ingredients are baffling to me since they are rather large and complex; so I’m including the full list below. That way each reader can check for items you might be allergic to, or ones you are seeking in a anti-aging serum.

Eye Lifter is $75 for 0.6 ounce pump bottle and is available on Cosmetic Surgeon’s website.

As we say up here in MN, Uffda! $75 is too rich for my blood for an eye cream. I’d rather save my pennies for actual surgery, I think.

However, thank you as always for your most awesome reviews! They are the best, and most user-friendly on the Interwebs.
