“New fill the gap! by Essie is the ultimate solution to help combat deep, unsightly ridges.” Fill the Gap was just recently released by Essie and it looks so promising!
Fill the Gap contains moisturizers, conditioners and nail-strengtheners (like yucca extract) to help hydrate nails and smooth over any deep ridges. It also promises to help prevent brittleness and breakage.
Sounds perfect right? It’s also like a concealer for your nails! It’s slightly tinted and has fine mica particles to help hide imperfections or nail damage. And it can be used as a base coat under a normal nail color.
Personally, I can’t wait to give this a shot. While my fingernails are in pretty good shape since I don’t paint them often, I do need to grow them out a bit and I’m hoping this will help with that. I also plan to use it on my toes this winter as part of a “recovery plan” so they’ll be in top shape for spring’s sandal season!

I don’t have a problem with ridges but my mom has really obvious ones. I’ll have to get this for her!
Hi Deanna, I have some family members too who I think will be getting this for the holidays. Plus, with the darn economy, small gifts that have thought are certainly the way to go. I hope she likes it!
