You can wear the shades glossy, matte, sheer or stained, but whichever way you go, make sure you keep the rest of your makeup simple with a few coats of mascara to define the eyes and a subtle wash of bronzer on the cheeks. Outlining the lips with a dark liner only closes in the mouth area. Instead, tracing over the entire lip with a matching shade of lip liner after you’ve applied lipstick will give the product extra staying power and keep the colour looking richer for longer.
