I’ve spent many an hour staring at the lovely (to me anyway) dark lip colors this fall.  I swear, the burgundies, maroons, and plums are following me – online, offline – I’m being stalked (without all the scariness).  Anyhow, if you love the idea and/or look of this autumn’s darker red-ish lip colors, you’ll probably enjoy this article from TB…

You can wear the shades glossy, matte, sheer or stained, but whichever way you go, make sure you keep the rest of your makeup simple with a few coats of mascara to define the eyes and a subtle wash of bronzer on the cheeks. Outlining the lips with a dark liner only closes in the mouth area. Instead, tracing over the entire lip with a matching shade of lip liner after you’ve applied lipstick will give the product extra staying power and keep the colour looking richer for longer. :)
