Fall Nails- Easy Bionic Buy with "After Midnight"

As we all know, dark nails are HOT for fall and winter. Instead of spending more money on the OPI, Essie and Chanel brands, Bionic searched out a new Limited Edition Sally Hansen nail polish color. “After Midnight” is a fantastic dark navy blue, an almost exact duplicate of OPI’s “Midnight in Moscow”. And for only $4.99, you gotta love the price!

*Edit on 23 September: This polish is VERY long-wearing. My nails typically chip with 24 hours, now three days later I’ve yet to see a chip! Hooray!

[...] On a recent trip to my local Walgreens, I picked up Maybelline’s Limited Edition polish in Amped Aubergine. The color is absolutely gorgeous! A dark purply-maroon with a slight shimmer; it’s similar to OPI’s Siberian Nights. Perfect for this season’s nails. [...]

I had originally wanted Chanel’s Blue Satin because it was a shimmery blue-black. but i thought $30 was EXTREMELY over the top for nail polish. i looked on ebay and found After Midnight by Sally Hansen but was outbid. I was looking on other sites that said it was sold out and such, so i was kinda bummed. BUT then i randomly went to Walgreens and found the last one for $6!! i swear it was waiting for me. The color is AMAZING! and it looks exactly like the Chanel one. same great color w/out paying for the Chanel Brand!! i was so excited. (can’t you tell)

$30 is quite extravagant! I can’t justify it and my hubby would probably not be very happy to know I spent that much on something that might lump up or I might not like or heck, the color falls out of fashion. Although that last item… I don’t really wear the latest colors on my nails. If it looks good on me, I’ll wear it!

Congrats on your find, Melissa!!

thank you! i’m just so in love with this color! lol i can’t take my eyes off my nails. the navy blue is gorgeous and the sally hansen brand looks like it lasts…unlike OPI (in my opinion) i think nail polish has become my new accessory.
