Definitely the deep red! Maybe something that you have that is kind of sparkly, so that we can see a big difference in the two… I love dark colors so any of those will work!

Stacy, You read my mind! I’m sitting here all through today painting my nails and then trying the various matte top coats. This way you’ll know which top coat suits you (some are semi-matte, some are *really* matte) and can see how they look with different colors.

I’ve got some more matte polishes coming up. But so far, I’m liking the top coats better because I can just use them on any of my existing nail polish stash.

Any particular color range you’d like to see? I’ve done gray, mushroom taupe, and a blue. I’m planning to do a deep red hopefully in a bit.

Can you do a swatch with the mattifier on a shinny polish so we can see how it works? Maybe only do half of one, or do two?
