I am and adult woman with moderate OCD. My job requires me to wash often and wear gloves. Recently the tips of my fingers have begun peeling. It starts where the white tip on nail begins. I, of course, pick it off causing sever thinning of the skin, and that begins to crack and bleed. The doctor prescribed Elocon (cortisteroid) cream. Although topical, it is rapidly absorbed and the side effects are extremely dangerous. My vision became terribly blurred, followed by a massive headache that wouldn't go away with Tylenol or aspirin. I discontinued treatment after the first application. The cure, for me, was far worse than the cause. I will immediately look in to GiaB.
Thanks so much for sharing this product with those of us that suffer. In closing, my fingers WERE better after just 1 application of Elocon, but I suggest you visit the site first and read the list of serious side effects before consulting your doctor.

I've just discovered shielding lotions for my dry skin which are very different from the usual skin protectants and barrier creams. I use Skin MD Natural in the UK. There is also Gloves in a Bottle which is a similar product and the best selling shielding lotion in the States. Both seem to work really well, so give then both a go and see which you prefer!
