by Bionic Beauty on May 4, 2010 · 120 comments

Breaking news, Bionic Beauties…
Led by celebrity hair stylist Harry Josh (who works with some of the biggest names in the industry: Sarah Jessica Parker, Gwyneth Paltrow, Gisele Bundchen, Amanda Seyfried), the John Frieda expert team will traveling across the USA for their “On Site” Hair Styling Tour.

When visitors (i.e. you) arrive on site, you’ll have the opportunity to make a 15-minute appointment on a first-come, first-served basis. You will then receive a styling lesson with a top John Frieda stylist, who will consult with you about specific hair issues and help educate you on how to address those concerns. Every attendee will walk away with a “hair prescription” from your stylist and will have the chance to purchase the recommended John Frieda formulas on-site at a drugstore.com kiosk. You’ll also get an exclusive discount to BCBG – there will be a mini boutique at each event, along with shopping kiosks so you can order the latest styles and indulge your fashionista-side.

If you can’t make the Style On Site Tour, you can get Harry Josh’s expert knowledge at home. Josh will be giving women virtual transformations via Skype video sessions, allowing women nationwide to log on and experience his expertise from home. Select Skype sessions will also be posted on the John Frieda site, giving women everywhere access to Josh’s step-by-step tutorials.

Here are the upcoming tour dates and cities:
Philadelphia – May 2-3
Atlanta – May 7-8
Miami – May 13-15
Houston – May 21-22

My hair is extremely frizzy. I have to use my Chi everyday to fix the problem.

My hair problem is that I have been grey since High School so I am constantly coloring my hair to get rid of the grey. I have color damaged hair.

I have curly hair that I straighten every day – frizz is my biggest enemy!

4 Mo May 18, 2010 at 5:08 pm

My hair gets wavy when it reaches a certain length. Since it’s always been really short (and pin straight) I’m struggling to figure out how to deal with it.
I treat with Philip B hair oil once or twice a month to help keep the damage from styling to a minimum.

I work in a hospital, so I generally have to have my hair pulled back, and for the whisps and other loose strands I use Sheer Blonde Crystal Clear Shape & Shimmer Hairspray to keep in place.

I have many issues with my hair. First of all my hair is thin, damaged, dry and it frizzes. I have no idea what products to use anymore because they don’t seem to be working. I would love to have a beautiful healthy hair. PLEASE HELP!!!

9 Tammy D. May 18, 2010 at 8:27 pm

frizz…that’s always been my issues. I’ve deal with it better these days with all the great products out there…I think the one that helps the most is hair wax! That stuff is a life saver!

My hair is dry, damaged.its hard to get it under control

11 Erica C. May 18, 2010 at 10:41 pm

Frizz and fly-aways are definitely my biggest problems. I have stick straight hair and the little hairs are always annoying! To try to battle the frizz now, I brush hairspray throughout my hair after blow drying. It helps a little but takes out volume at the same time. I’d love to try this set.

12 Kristi May 19, 2010 at 12:03 am

I am starting to grey sooner and it’s driving me nuts that I have to color my hair sooner. So, I agree with another poster…my problem is damage from coloring my hair alot and also my hair is thick and unruly so JF Smooth Start sounds exactly like what I need. All I am doing now is using a leave in conditioner and it’s not really helping. Thanks for the giveaway!

i put it up in a bun ,and it seems to have gotton a lotfrizzer after my perm

16 Nicole Greene May 19, 2010 at 10:26 am

My hair is dry and damaged. I only use John Frieda brand on my hair since it’s the only kind that actually helps it. When it’s a really bad hair day it goes up in a ponytail or bun :)

17 susan May 19, 2010 at 10:46 am

23 Anna May 19, 2010 at 2:28 pm

My hair always seems to be dry and is damaged from all the Hair color i have used through the years. And The perm i had in it has made it frizzy at times.
Thanks for the chance!

24 Breanne May 19, 2010 at 2:33 pm

My hair is naturally thick, frizzy, and has big weird waves. I use mousse when it’s wet, blow dry it, and straighten it in the back if it’s still got messed up sections.

25 Lisa May 19, 2010 at 3:07 pm

Fine frizzy hair all the time!!

26 Lisa G. May 19, 2010 at 4:27 pm

33 Michelle H. May 19, 2010 at 7:41 pm

I use intensive hair conditioners around 3 times a week for shiny hair and I rinse my hair in cold water because this also makes it shiny.

34 peggy May 19, 2010 at 8:22 pm

35 Amanda S. May 19, 2010 at 8:40 pm

I have half frizzy (top) half straight (bottom) hair and the rainy northwest where I live doesn’t help! Maybe this product is the solution. :)

36 Nancy S. May 19, 2010 at 9:47 pm
