A moment in 2008 that made me feel beautiful was when my husband winked at me. It may not seem like a big deal to others, but he usually doesn’t do that. We were just in the kitchen together, talking, and he gave me the sweetest, sexiest wink…my heart literally jumped. It was the strangest thing, but it meant so much!

On a good friend’s advice I stopped wearing so much make-up and have received so many more compliments than I ever did with all the make-up I used to wear.

I was helping a friend with this assignment he had for this nature class. We had to find a new site for him to study in this nature park. Well you see there was this big creek. And somehow we end up trying to cross it on this old rotted log. key word rotted. well it collapsed. My crush with his long legs ended up leaping for the bank and was relatively untouched except for the wet shoes. Whereas I was fully soaked from head to toe, super gross and super embarrassed. Well that sweet boy came back in right after me, swung me up into his arms and carried me off back to his car. And he smiles down at me, “you’re too cute, even this way.” I don’t think I’ve ever felt so beautiful. [even when I got home and saw all that mascara smeared across my face. 🙂 ]

I am a registered nurse working in a critical care unit. On a daily basis, I am able to participate in the most private and personal moments of patient’s and family’s lives. To save a life, to welcome a new baby into the world, to hold the hand of a lonely dying man, to comfort a new widow….all these things and many more make me feel beautiful, valuable, worthwhile…

I’ve been playing Bunco for 12 years now and we never talk about age but one day one girl asked how old I was and I said 46 and she was in such shock she thought I was like 37. I told her I love her and she just made my day. That made me feel beautiful. 🙂

I had major surgery nov18th. The same day, my fiance came in the room with flowers and sat beside me. I was in pain but the pain medication was starting to work. He put both his hands on my face very gently and told me how beautiful I was and that he would stay by my side until I fell asleep. Awww…I know. I am blessed.

I felt like the most beautiful woman in the world when my emotionally challenged (now) husband actually cried when I waked down th aisle in May 2008. Before we could even say our vows, he said to me ” you look hot!”. Now he is out to sea (he’s Navy) and he occasionally sends me emails that say “I bet you look hot today” It always makes me smile even when I don’t look hot!
Thank you very much for the giveaway and good luck everyone!

I always feel beautiful when I give of myself. Talking to a homeless person, helping an elderly neighbor. Very simple acts that can mean so much to the person you are “giving” to.

After my marriage ended last spring, I really needed a complete makeover. This girl at the salon gave me the most beautiful highlights ever.

In 2008 I felt the most beautiful when I sent to a retreat. I felt pure, clean, natural and beautiful. Also, we went to the spa after the retreat so I felt even better!
Many people complimented me about my looks. I made sure not to get puffy eyes by using a special eye cream
I achieved that I would be more confident in myself.

In Nov. 2008, I had a cancerous mole removed from under my left eye, after the recovery of having 21 stiches which reached from my eyebrow down the side of my nose under my eye I felt that I needed something to hide the scar and to give me a lift. Your makeup is a miracle, and so was my recovery. Thank You for your mineral makeup

35 Mo January 17, 2009 at 2:19 pm

I got to fly out and visit my hubby after a few months in another state while he was prepping for deployment.
One night we wandered the streets of Milwaukee trying to find a restaurant and got caught in a downpour on our walk back to the hotel. We were soaked to the bone and our feet ached, but we collapsed into our bed laughing like crazy. 10 years and 3 kids later, looking like a drowned rat, my husband told me I was even more beautiful than the day we married. Looking in his eyes and reflecting on the wonderful life we’ve built, I feel like the way I look on the outside has kept up with the way I feel on the inside, and I like it!

I’m a very shy and quiet person, until I discovered, beauty gurus on Youtube, that inspired me to be more courageous, spontaneous, and free. So I took the courage, and decided to start up my own Blog! It’s alot of work I tell ya. I mean, I don’t know how they do it. But anyways, I still can’t believe how much I’ve grown and changed. I now, play with my makeup, and experiment tons of different colors. I hope i get better some day. But yes, I’m still learning more, and I also hope I can make this my future career. But we’ll see. Thanks for this, I didn’t even think of how much I’ve changed. You’re the best.

A moment that made me feel really beautiful was when my growing belly actually started to look pregnant. After pregnancy loss and infertility, it is SO exciting to have a healthy, growing baby inside of me. He makes me feel SO beautiful! Thanks so much!

After giving birth to my second son in February, as odd as it may sound, I felt beautiful. I had been in labor for 17 hours and even when I look at pictures of me holding him right after you would never know it. I just had that “glow”, that rush and I felt like a beautiful mommy of a new baby boy.
