Three Custom Color Specialists announced their partnership with the Showtime TV series, “The L Word”. A new collection of lipsticks ($20.00 each) inspired by “The L Word’s” sexy, iconic characters — “Bette,” “Kit,” “Alice” and “Shane”.

The new lipsticks will be available online at ThreeCustom.com and through “The L Word” shop at SHO.com beginning on January 18th at 8:59 PM (preceding the premiere of the show’s sixth and final season).

I’ve taken pictures of the 4 shades for you. Three Custom Color was kind enough to send me some samples so that you ladies can see EXACTLY what the colors look like!

All 4 shades were created in Three Custom Color’s award-winning sheer lipstick formula – highly moisturizing, with sheer and buildable coverage to flatter a wide range of skin tones.

For the record, all my applications were with a lip brush (since I only had samples), no lip liner (sorry, liner fans!), and only one coat (so these are the SHEEREST the lip colors will be… you can build as much color as you’d like from here).

ALICE – A warm, fleshy rose with champagne shimmer inspired by Alice’s quirky fashion-forward look.

KIT – A saucy raisin with copper shimmer that’s as fiery as Kit. This is my favorite of the bunch. It’s deep and has such a great subtle shimmer. I’ve been wearing it a TON!

BETTE – A sophisticated red that’s as passionate and powerful as Bette.

SHANE – A creamy, natural tone to enhance your lip color, inspired by Shane’s no-nonsense style.

All together, this is a fun little release from Showtime and Three Custom Color. I love seeing television shows thinking outside the box on creating products for women. And since it’s Three Custom, the lipsticks are amazing anyhow. This company has really become of the few Bionic favorites!

Do you watch The L Word? And do you purchase merchandise based on your fan-dom for a movie, TV show, band, etc?
