For the Bionic Boys: Lab Series Skincare for Men

I recently was sent a tube of Lab Series Skincare for Men’s Daily Moisture Defense Lotion SPF 15. Since I’m well, uh, not a male, I handed the tube to BH (bionic hubby) to trial.

You know guys… direct and to the point about things like this. So will this lotion work for the males out there?

BH reports: The first application was fine and it sunk into my skin quickly. The scent was fine, nothing obnoxious. However, after an hour my skin started to feel tight, dry and scratchy. After a week of use, my skin remained totally unmoisturized and in fact, developed some flaky spots.

I think this lotion would be fine just for SPF coverage alone or if you don’t need any moisture. But for over $35, I’d like it to be more of lotion. It seemed to me like one of those gimmicky formulas that causes you to use it more… like a vicious cycle.

There ya go ladies and gents. I’d like to add one aside… to be honest I didn’t think the scent was “fine”. The scent reminded me of Elmer’s Glue.
