Lancome’s fall collection is all about the deep dark blue. Two of my personal favorite products are the Artliner gel eyeliner in Indigo Charm and their nail polish in Indigo Paris.
Lancome's new deep blue gel eyeliner for Fall 2009
Ink Artliner Gel Eye Liner in Indigo Charm
It’s no secret that I really like gel eyeliners so I was extremely happy to see a gorgeous deep blue from Lancome. This gel eyeliner comes in oversized pot with classic Lancome packaging- frosted glass and a shiny black lid.
The eyeliner wears pretty well with no flaking during the day. It does seem to smudge a bit easier than most gel eyeliners during humid days or while sweating. And I did need to go over the line twice for complete coverage.

La Vernis nail polish in Indigo Paris
This nail polish is absolutely gorgeous. A deep true blue with shimmer. And the wear is absolutely amazing! I get 3 full days and that’s plain incredible for me. I will warn you that the flashes of blue in the sunlight can be quite distracting. You’ll find yourself constantly staring down at your nails.
Indigo Paris nail polish is one of my absolute must-haves for Fall 2009!

I have been drooling over the polish since seeing it online and can’t wait to pick one up. Think I’ll skip the gel liner though, since I already have one I love. Thanks for the info!
Sooo pretty this deep indigo! Avon has also come out with a similar shade polish too. Very fun!
ooooh I have a blue nail polish fetisgh going on. That is BewTfull!
I love my spring OPI and tried CK and NARS but this one look’s prettier and when they photograph well, they look better in real life!
Thanks! I’m going to have to waste (ahem, I mean “invest”) more money now …but my birthday month is coming soon!!!!!
Briana, Have you seen the OPI Designer Series in Fantasy (here’s my swatch: http://bionic-beauty.com/fantasy-manicure-opi/ )? It’s one of my favorite blue polishes- the swatch photo doesn’t do it justice. Of course, that was until Deep Indigo came along. Still they both have a spot in my polish tote!
My absolute favorite blue polish though is a medium blue from the OPI DS series called “Glamour”. It’s VERY holographic in the sun. I still need to get a swatch of it up. I even bought a backup bottle (and that’s unheard of for me!).
I can’t get the swatch to load, (I get a sunscreen), but I almost ordered fanasy, out of stock, so I got Mermaid to Order…Teal more green than blue but catches the light from multiple angles…it’s the most beautiful color I’ve ever seen.
I have Opening Night also OPI made for Sephora and it’s quite close to the blue in this article, very dark but beautiful.
Thanks!
Argh… the coding in the comment is wrong. For some reason, my comment is changing the code a bit. Here’s the correct link: http://bionic-beauty.com/fantasy-manicure-opi/
I have Opening Night as well! It’s a very pretty color too. We could do long-distance matching manis.
Have a great evening Briana. (I’m still catching up on all my emails, lol!)
