Hi Susan, If your hair is going back and forth between oily and dry- it may be because you are washing too often. Try going to a schedule of washing every other day. It may take a few weeks for your hair to adjust, but it should slow down the production of oil. Basically when you wash your hair too frequently, your scalp feels it needs to overcompensate for the fact that you stripped out all it's natural oils. So it start manufacturing extra oil.

When you said "it doesn't stand still"- are you looking for a lightweight hair spray or other styling product? If so, Pantene has a lightweight hair spray with soft, flexible hold. That could work for you.

I hope these suggestions help you. Please comment back with more questions if you have them. And welcome to Bionic Beauty! I hope to see you around the blog more in the future!
Cheers,
Jami

When I do my hair I'm always in a hurry so I wash and go! I pick my damp hair with a pick , spray with some hair spray and go. When its dry I just run my fingers through it and thats that. I don't have time to fuss and I wouldn't know what to do with it anyway.
