In honor of Breast Cancer Awareness month, Loose Lips NY and Bionic Beauty have paired to bring you a fab lipstick giveaway!

This lipstick, Girlie, was released by LLNY for their fall 2008 collection. It’s an amazing formula and the color works so well on a variety of complexions. Perfect for your fall and winter looks! 3 winners will be chosen so you’re odds are even better.

To enter this contest, please leave a comment below with at least one event this year that is supporting Breast Cancer Awareness month. You could list something taking place in your home town, a luncheon, a walk/bike ride, on the internet or something global.

You’re probably not even that old Jana, I remember those good days, when candy was like fifty cents, I was already pretty old at that age! Okay, well for the question, I’m thinking of my hospital, they’re giving free screenings for breast cancer.

Making Strides Against Breast Cancer is the American Cancer Society’s premier event to raise awareness and dollars to fight breast cancer. several of my girlfriends and I are going to the 19th October walk in San Diego. I have other friends who are doing a 3 day bike ride in Northen CA at the end of the month also.

Making Strides Against Breast Cancer of Detroit, Michigan is to be held on 10/18/2008 . This event is the American Cancer Society’s premier event to raise awareness and dollars to fight breast cancer. Those in the area should definitely show support.

Susan G. Komen for the Cure Greater Atlanta Affiliate is introducing its new fall fundraiser – The Call for the Cure Radiothon! The Call for the Cure will be held on B98.5FM on Friday, October 17th. The day will kick off with the Steve and Vikki Morning Show taking to the airwaves to encourage listeners to pledge their support in the fight against breast cancer. The radiothon will continue throughout the day, raising funds for Atlanta’s medically underserved community and spreading the life-saving message of early detection to a large Atlanta audience. The event is a great opportunity for Komen Atlanta and its sponsors to reach a wide audience with vital breast health information.

The On The Border by my house is selling t-shirts and hosting raffles & rummage sales every weekend to raise money for the Susan G Coleman foundation. Also, my university’s chapter of Zeta Tau Alpha is hosting multiple events & encouraging everyone on campus to wear their pink ribbons all month. 🙂

Having three aunts with breast cancer in the past four years makes me participate in many events, but I’ll admit that my favorite is on QVC with the shoes for the cure event they hold annually. A bunch of shoe designers donate their shoes and you get to buy them half price. Well worth watching and buying!

Gilda’s Club in Rochester, New York hosted their annual Gilda’s Gala, the largest fundraising event of the year on Friday, September 26, 2008. It was held at the Rochester Riverside Convention Center and was a huge success. I have attend the past 2 years and it is a wonderful event!

A nearby town is having at their health center a ride through breakfast tomorrow morning, drive in parking lot get breast cancer information at first stop, a gift at second stop and a take home breakfast at third stop, then drive away.

We had the Relay for Life in support of cancer research in San Fermando, California in September. Our club cooked pancakes and sausage and poured orange juice for the walkers. They had to have at least one person on their team walking during the 24 hours of the relay.
