L’Oreal has initiated action against Ebay in five European companies for an ever-growing problem. L’Oreal’s cosmetics and perfumes have been faked and are being sold on the popular auction site.
“L’Oreal has been facing an increasing volume of illicit trade in fake fragrances and fake cosmetic products on some online auction sites,” the company said in a statement.
Overseas customers- beware as always when buying items on eBay. Be careful, watch for labeling, and ASK questions of the seller!
