I have been reading for awhile that Monstat Anti Chaffing gel works wonders….well….I did it…..i went and bought a tube($6.95 @ walmart) Have not used it yet but will definitely give an update once i try it. I was using vincent longo water canvas as a primer( sephora purchase)….too heavy and left me a little greasy. Hopefully Monistat will hold the oil back???

I’ve been using this as a primer ever since I read about it on a makeup site a few years back! Works better than some of the real primers for my oily skin and costs much less. Glad to see that more people are discovering this and I love finding new ways to use products!

would you believe I have been using this stuff for a while now and find it to be just as good as the expensive makeup primers you find at the makeup counter. It’s great under mineral foundation, I agree!!!! Who knew???? My question though is, who was the first women who decide to try this on her face, how did she arrive at that decision? . Who cares, I’m grateful!

Sherry, You are welcome! I always try to include ingredients when I can because I, like you, have allergies. And I know it makes it SO much easier to know about a product if you can see it’s ingredients right off the bat. At least you know what to look for, right?

And yeah, I had a hard time getting through the brand image in my head too!! I kept walking around all day going, “uh… I’ve got Monistat on my face?!?!”

Unfortunately, I can’t use most primers as I’m allergic to cyclopenatsiloxane. ( I love how you always include ingredients. Thanks!) If I could, I don’t think I could use this one. Monistat is branded into my brain as only one thing and it’s not for your face!

OMG, I love using Monistat Anti-chafe as primer…you get so much more, for less!
