Purely Cosmetics has been the busy bee lately!

The new Limited Edition Cream-to-Powder eye shadow palette (10 shades) is available now for $39.99. It contains Black Cherry (shown in my photographs below), Evening Plum, Chocolate, Lilac, Ballet Pink, Rose Beige, Sapphire (which sounds gorgeous!), Snowflake, Copper, and Antique Gold. This palette comes with the Bionic seal of approval!

If you missed my original review of PC’s cream shadows, be sure to check it out. Leave any questions you have in the comments, and I’ll be happy to help!

Purely Cosmetics is also carrying the infamous Blinc mascara products (insert Bionic squeal here!). I will be posting a full review of the mascara soon, along with some really cool photos (you’ll see). If any of you have tried their curler and primer, I’d love to hear your thoughts. I have considered buying them, but just haven’t made the leap yet. Prices range from $14.75 for the primer to $57 for the full starter set.

I was disappointed with the blinc mascara. Yes, it stayed, for the most part, but when I cried(I tried it out the day Jared left for Iraq) it made my lashes get gooey and stick together, so I had spider eyes. The first time I wiped away my tears I was left with tubes on my hand and face because tears are warm and the wiping was pressure, exactly what it needs to come off. 8 Also, the primer and mascara are separate so the price gets up there, especially if you have wimpy lashes like mine. It was good for length, but not so hot for adding volume, so you pretty much need the primer if you want fullness and not just length. There are benefits to this as opposed to the mass market tubes and primer though, and I know a lot of people out there had better luck with it than I did.

And I forgot…
The color looks great, very smooth and not heavy at all, just what we’ve come to expect from PC. Love it!
