Nuclear fallout? No problem for this skin care item!

We made it through December 21, 2012 without an altering-of-the-world-consciousness; evaded extreme disasters; and the Earth as we know it didn’t “end”. But… what would your skincare routine consist of had there been a nuclear apocalypse???

I’m not going to ruin the video for you, since it is really quite awesome, so you’re just going to have to watch. It’s short, I promise.

Who knew? And huge props to that actress for allowing her skin to be painted up with tainted dirt. That’s Bionic!

Stay off the Geiger charts y’all,
Jami - author and editor of the Bionic Beauty blog

P.S. Any suggestions on what to use when the zombies come calling?

Jami! Girl, good to see you around these parts again. I haven’t watched this article’s video yet, but will, I promise. Anywho, glad to see you back on the site again. I’m glad that, on a whim, I checked in again, after a very long time. Don’t be a stranger, eh? 🙂

Thanks Tashi! It’s good to be back! I’m still not up to my one-per-day postings but I am working on it. Oh boy… do I have some stories for you! And guess what? I finally watched 24. 😀

LOL Finally watched Kiefer, eh? Hee-hee. Have you seen his new show, “Touch”? Helloooooooo!! 😉 **SWOON!** But I digress.

I hope life has been treating you well. I’ll try hard to remember to visit the site often. Life here’s been hectic, but alright. Ya just suck it up and put your best face on, and move ahead, one foot in front of the other. I’ve missed everything that was/is Bionic Beauty. Just do the best that you can, all the way around. Stories, huh? If you’ve run into Kiefer Sutherland somewhere, I am going to be SOOOO jealous. He looks short. I wonder what kind of man cosmetics he uses. (Good association to BB, huh?) I still miss “24”, even if I DO have all 8 seasons on dvd. Did you like any of “24”? What face lotions do ya think he uses? 😉 He’s got a few wrinkles, due to age (and perhaps life as a whole). But I think he still looks great, whatever he uses.

Sadly, I haven’t seen Touch, but it is on my Netflix “que” thingy to watch at some point. And also sadly, I did *not* get to meet Kiefer. That would have improved my year immensely! Although I did get married. 😀

Hmm… I should try to dig up Kiefer’s skin care artist and see if we can get a Q&A on here. No promises, but I’ll try poking around. It would certainly be a fun article!

P.S. And yes, I did love 24. I really liked Chloe’s interactions with Jack. “I dunno Jack, I could get in a lot of trouble for this…” *grin*

Love Touch – See it on Net Flix… 🙂

Hi, Sue Ann,

I’ve never used Netflix, but thanks for the suggestion! I just watch the show when it airs. I loooove how there have been echos of “24”‘s Jack Bauer in the character, Martin Baum in “Touch.” Even the character, Lucy “went all Jack” on Calvin in that one episode a few weeks ago (Maybe she was checking to see if he used the nuclear beauty creme mentioned in Jami’s article above?? LOL). LOVE that show! But I digress. We were talking beauty and skincare, right? 😉 LOL

Married!!?? Hooray!!!! A very belated congratulations to you both. BEST wishes and happiness. 😀

“Touch” is good, but I confess, I can’t help but compare it to “24”, even if they’re not the same kinds of shows. However, I can see some similarities in characters — what “Jack Bauer” did in “24”, as compared to what “Martin Baum” does in “Touch” (i.e., action sequences, etc.). I know how much you still adore “Alias”, which is cool. Sadly, I have never seen it. Maybe the library has dvd’s. I like how you have related beauty and empowerment to that show (sorry, I forget exactly how and what you’ve said, but you get my drift).

What a fun article, yes, that would be to speak with Kiefer’s skincare artist. If it happens, cool. If not, no biggie. He’s a gentleman of a certain age (mid-forties now?), but he seems to have aged pretty well. Maybe he found a jar of that nuclear beauty cream?? LOL I recall his having had some rough spots in life, so I’m hoping he’s taking better care, including his skincare, etc. If he gets a toupee, I swear, I am going to stop watching “Touch”! 😉
