Thanks so much Suzann! I got some good Taklon brushes from my local craft store as well. I love them for concealors and applying cream eyeshadows (my current favorite type). Thanks for the sites and glad to have you contributing.

Aveda has some excellent vegan makeup brushes. I like Aveda because you can go into the actual store and feel the brushes and get the ones you like. I also go to the hobby shop occasionally and see what kind of Taklon artist brushes they have.

Online, I got some AWESOME blush and powder brushes from http://www.colorbrushes.com. I found their prices to be good, too. I’ve got a fairly complete list of vegan brush online stores at http://www.mymakeupmirror.com/VeganBrushes.htm

Cheap Chick, You make me laugh. Most concealers don’t work for me either. They don’t cover my dark eye circles or my slight melasma. Funny enough, the $1 concealer from e.l.f. is working the best for me so far. Weird, huh?

It’s amazing that we all agree on two huge product:
1. Apricot Scrub – Try their Microderm-Abrasion, soooo much better.
2. Great Lash – great for who? I don’t know a SOUL who uses this crap.
3. Proactiv – it destroyed my skin.
4. Most concealers – nothing works on my big red nose. Just call me Rudolf.
5. Diet Coke – not a beauty product, I know! But I still don’t get the appeal.

Suzann, Excellent point. I have been only purchasing vegan brushes as well. What brands have you found that work well? I’m still experimenting a bit and have only purchased locally, so I’m probably missing out on the online nice ones.
