Achieve Powerful Beauty with Bionic Beauty™
This week’s Powerful Beauty spotlight guest is Gina Rafkind. Gina is the brains behind the wonderous website Veda Sun *and* she’s an aromatherapy guru to boot! Her aromatherapy knowledge shines brightly in the creation of her face and body care products. I can’t wait to try some of her products out!!

Powerful Beauty ~ to embrace our bodies as we age and not to defy our age. We need to embrace and accept the changes our bodies go through. It does not mean we give up – it means we become aware that change happens. With this new awareness, we can then take care of our bodies with gratitude and mindfulness, knowing that our true beauty comes from within. We nurture ourselves in a healthy way and not in an attached way such as longing for the way we once looked. But now we embrace every stage, and moment, of life and find joy in the fact that we are maturing; developing into rich, ripe and wisdom filled beings! With this attitude and flow, your inner radiance will shine through displaying your Powerful Beauty.

Today I turned 32. Yep. It’s Bionic’s birthday. To be honest, I’ve always lived by Gina’s description above… 30 didn’t bother me, and 32 doesn’t either. I enjoy my changes- watching my curves develop in my twenties, spotting those first teensy gray hairs, and the little crinkles by my eyes that show I’m happy in life. I’m even proud of my scars- shows my toughness (hee!).

I try to stress this outlook to my family. There’s WAY too much to ponder, pontificate, love and laugh at in life to spend precious time worrying about age. I guess it comes down to the fact that life’s too short. Trite, yes. But true.

What do *you* think of Gina’s version of Powerful Beauty?

Catch up on the rest of the Powerful Beauty features. And remember to check back each Friday for another dose of how to Achieve Powerful Beauty!

Happy Birthday, Jami!!! I hope you have a wonderful day. 🙂
I’ve always loved being in my 30s more than in my 20s. I believe most girls blossom into womanhood in their 30s and not a moment earlier. And you can tell which women know it and embrace it. There’s no beauty like confident, womanly beauty. 🙂

Hi Jami,
I wanted to wish you a happy birthday too.
I’ll be turning 42 this Sunday. I don’t pay much
attention to the number -in fact many times
I forget how old I am! 🙂
Thanks for inviting me to be a part of your amazing blog, Bionic
Abundant wishes,

Nenette, I agree with you 100%!! I feel better in my 30s than I ever did about my 20s. 🙂 And… I’m MUCH more confident now. 5 years ago, I *hated* having my picture taken. Now I take pics daily and post them for all you ladies. Funny how things change!

Gina, Happy Birthday fellow Capricorn!! Thanks for your wonderful contribution to Bionic. I’ll certainly remember your words for many years.

Happy Birthday! And Gina, great comments about embracing change and not trying to fight it. I bet we’d save ourselves a few gray hairs and crows feet if we didn’t worry so much about it. Easier said than done I suppose, especially with all the “you must be beautiful forever” messages women receive in a given day. Yick! Thanks for the reminder to enjoy what you have while you have it, and to nurture and take care of yourself at any age!

Hi Donna Maria,
Thanks for the birthday wishes and your comment!
I read what I wrote often just because it is such a great reminder and a good daily practice. I also hear you about it being easier said than done, but I also feel once you start truly awakening your vibrant inner being – that which does not get affected by age – then those marketing messages start to have less and less power over you. You begin to align with life and you are able to enjoy all the material stuff because you know you can’t find true happiness through them. You begin to realize what truly matters. 🙂
Here’s to more vibrant beings becoming awakened, walking the earth and enjoying true joy and bliss!
