I’m just so happy to receive you email notifying me this great post! It’s a delight! It’s true, sometimes we take a smile for granted. A smile, is powerful to make a connection; to break an awkward situation… We often see a smiley gravatar but have we been using it often in our daily lives?

This is one simple message but with profound meaning — the 2nd encouragement I got today and pleased with. Stumbled! Good job, my friend.

I’ve enjoyed reading these thought-provoking comments. They led me to ask what is it about a smile that makes us react this way? Other than the basic human reaction to behavior that connotes ‘you can trust me’ and ‘I am a nice person’,
the kind of smile Luci describes also connotes self-assurance, capability, willingness to show regard towards others, and not only ones self. This description may also be applied when defining what makes a woman powerful.
The smile, all by itself, can convey all that meaning, without a word.
